I ummed and I ahhed over buying this book. "Could it really be as enjoyable as it professed to be?", I asked myself.Turns out .... it actually is!I am SO glad that I bought it.I love to draw, craft and do 'stuff' ... but sometimes I'm just not feeling the vibe and can't seem to switch on that creative process. But every day I begin my crafting time by spending a short while completing one task in this fantastical book.... and that gets the vibe inside me running! Even if I don't have time to do anything else, just doing that one task leaves me feeling that I've done 'something' worthwhile with my time.If you enjoy Zentangle you'll like this book .... or if you don't Zentangle and haven't even tried it ... this book is for you. It's light fun and thoroughly enjoyable. Give yourself a task a day, and do them from the start of the book ... read, copy, learn, gain confidence and then you'll soon be doing your own thing.The book is filled with thick, good quality paper It's thickness will take colouring pencils, brush pens, watercolour pencils, gel pens, glittery gel pens and even a little water on a brush to blend the watercolour pencils.I noticed in the reviews that some people had been disappointed with the quality of the paper in the book they bought. I can only say that you should buy from Amazon themselves. If someone is selling this book cheaper then there may be a reason. That's all I'm saying.Summing up - I love this book. It switches you off from whatever is troubling you, and switches you on to a more relaxed, happy place and leaves you a bit more chilled out after finishing a task. I recommend it. Treat yourself and buy it. Be good to yourself.

Good all round book to use

What can I say.....this book is much more than I ever expected!! A feast for the eye and starts those creative juices run ning!! Colours are just wonderful and well worth the cost. Love this book so much!!

At first glance I thought this book was brilliant, but as I went through it thoroughly it felt very much like 'more of the same' in terms of repeat of designs. In this I feel it lacks a bit of sophisticated markings but I am still happy I purchased it.

A nice book with plenty of examples of doodles you could use for many decorative purposes. It takes you through the basics and onto more complicated designs.
