Time will tell but it looks and feels very high quality with a good one-piece design; i.e. no welds, joints or seams.

Lifetime Buckle
You can tell this buckle will last a lifetime . Very thick and stainless steel . I was VERY impressed by its strength and workmanship. Chinese Products can be excellent if the design is correct.

A bit noisy till you cinich it down, and make a belt fit tighter
It makes a belt fit tighter, which wasn't a problem in this situation. Seems sturdy. The roller diameter is too big in relation to the buckle part it surrounds. When you are wearing the belt it's fine, but when you are putting it on its a little noisy cuz it can move around so much.
