All 13 instalments of the prehistoric animated children's adventures. In 'The Land Before Time' (1988), young dinosaur Littlefoot (voice of Gabriel Damon) is orphaned and so he sets off with a gang of fellow baby dinosaurs in search of a legendary green valley that offers safety from the plague that is sweeping the world. In 'The Land Before Time 2 - The Great Valley to Heaven' (1994), the young dinosaurs are coaxed into the forbidden 'Mysterious Beyond' by the mischievous Cera (Candace Hutson), and they realise that everything in their world is not as idyllic as they had thought. In 'The Land Before Time 3 - The Time of the Great Giving' (1995), Littlefoot (Scott McAfee), Cera (Hutson), Ducky (Heather Hogan), Spike (Rob Paulsen) and Petrie (Jeff Bennett) have to find a new source of water when a meteorite plunges into the Great Valley and their fellow prehistoric pals start getting grumpy. Along the way they have to battle the dreaded Sharpteeth, dodge a fierce fire and avoid angry velociraptors. But through it all, the friends work as a team. In 'The Land Before Time 4 - Journey Through the Mists' (1996) Longnecks brings news of change from beyond the Great Valley: of mists and strange creatures that inhabit the marshes and trees. This does not affect Littlefoot and his friends, until he has to search for the petals of a golden Night Flower in order to cure his ailing Grandpa. Unfortunately, the flower can only be found in the Land of Mists. In 'The Land Before Time 5 - The Mysterious Island' (1997) Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky and Petrie ignore the advice of their elders and set off to discover an island of beauty and mystery that lies beyond the Great Valley. In 'The Land Before Time 6 - The Secret of Saurus Rock' (1998), the mysterious Saurus Rock, which legend claims keeps away bad luck, lies beyond the Great Valley. When baby dinosaurs Threehorns, Dinah (Sandy Fox) and Dana (Nancy Cartwright) run away to investigate, it is up to Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky and Petrie to bring them back. In 'The Land Before Time 7 - The Stone of Cold Fire' (2001) Littlefoot sees an amazing sight, a 'stone of cold fire' that falls from the sky and lands in the mountains. But when he tells his friends about it, none of them will believe him. In 'The Land Before Time 8 - The Big Freeze' (2001) the entire group of dinosaurs are trapped in the valley by a snowstorm. A group of them decide that since they need to eat more than the others they will leave the valley. One of the dinosaurs who leaves is Spike and so Littlefoot and his other friends have several adventures trying to get Spike and his family to return to the valley. In 'The Land Before Time 9 - Journey to the Big Water' (2002), when heavy rain creates a mysterious 'new water', Littlefoot (Thomas Dekker) sets off to explore the Great Valley. He quickly becomes friends with Mo (Paulsen), a prank-playing dolphin-like creature who can't find his way back to the Big Water. Littlefoot and his prehistoric pals come to the rescue, evade a scary sharptooth - and prove the value of courage, friendship and diversity. In 'The Land Before Time 10 - The Great Longneck Migration' (2003) Littlefoot (Alec Medlock) dreams that he has found a land filled with brontosauruses like him. When he tells his grandparents (Kenneth Mars and Miriam Flynn) about the dream, they take it as a sign that they should set out and look for the land Littlefoot is describing. In 'The Land Before Time 11 - Invasion of the Tinysauruses' (2005), when Littlefoot (Aaron Spann) gets into trouble after telling a lie, the Tinysauruses invade the Great Valley so they can teach him a lesson. In 'The Land Before Time 12 - The Great Day of the Flyers' (2006), Petrie is having a difficult time preparing for 'The Day of The Flyers' - an important calendar mark for all of the flying residents of the Great Valley. On this special day, all young flyers must participate in a flying exhibition to prove that they are ready to fly with the adults. At the same time, a strange newcomer to the Great Valley has Littlefoot and his friends trying to help figure out just exactly what he is. His name's Guido (Paulsen) and he's the strangest looking creature anyone in the Great Valley has ever seen, as he's covered with multicolored 'fuzzies' (feathers). Finally, in 'The Land Before Time 13 - The Wisdom of Friends (2007), Littlefoot (Cody Arens), Cera (Anndi McAfee), Spike, Petrie and Ducky (Aria Noelle Curzon) meet up with lovable yellow-bellied Beipiaosauruses, Loofah (Cuba Gooding Jr.) and Doofah (Sandra Oh), who've managed to lose their way while travelling to the distant Berry Valley. The pair are too awkward to find their way back easily, so Littlefoot and the others help them on their journey, learning some important lessons about life along the way.

Best Children's Programme Ever!
If my children only remember one thing about their childhood it will be the Land Before Time. No other movie or TV series has come close to being as popular as these shows. They've been watched so often that this is the second box set we purchased to replace the first which had become worn out and scratched from over use. We all love watching Littlefoot and his buddies go on their adventures and then we all love to re-enact the scenes, crawling around the house being long necks and sharp tooths. Brilliant TV Series.

Great DVD box set, that my daughter loves!
My daughter became hooked on the Land Before Time TV series, but was disappointed when she had soon watched them all. This DVD box set was the solution - 13 feature length films, with all her favourite characters, providing background to the TV series and surrounding story plots. She loves it and still hasn't watched all 13, instead playing some more than once.

Excellent Value for money
I went to HMV and even in the sale they were selling 1-3 dvd boxset for same price as this 1-13 box set. Lovely stories and movies that even my 14 year old loves to watch time and time again. My little girl has just started watching these for the first time but kept her attention, which is saying something as she is an active 19 month old. Highly recommended. Came really quickly too.

All kids will love these little dinosaurs
These DVD's are value for money, my children, love them, watch them over and over. If you have children they will love these baby dinosaurs, called Littlefoot, Duckie, Spike,Petrie and Cera, on their adventures. Plus there are games and extra bits too. 10/10 for Dvd's. 10/10 for service and delivery. I would definitely buy again.

nice movies, poor qulity of the dvd holders
the movies were great, my son loved each and every one of them, it is just unfortunate, that all the dvd's do not stay in their pockets, due to them being broken, not just one, but in all of them. dvd quality is great though. and thanks for the super fast postage!

Had to buy this set
I bought this DVD set simply because of the fond memories I had of these movies from my daughter's childhood. The stories are about a group of quirky young dinosaurs who gently negotiate some real-life issues like bravery and loyalty through a series of boisterous adventures. The characters all have whimsical personalities and there are lots of witty songs - "Friends for dinner" is a classic. This series truly is family entertainment. If you are looking for a gift for youngsters, you can't go wrong with this DVD set.
