I got this for my husband. He has a track record of putting the bic long lighters in his back pocket while he’s working outside, sitting on them, and breaking them so I thought this would solve that problem. He said he’d give it 3 stars. I think 4. This lighter works great for candles and is “fun” but doesn’t work great for what he uses it for, like burning garbage on the farm. It is nice that wind doesn’t blow out the “flame” though! It’s just difficult to start something on fire if it isn’t thin enough to fit through the two probs that form the arc, like a candle wick does.

I’ve had it for a while and so far so good. The only slight down side - the location of the lighter part is very very small so sometimes bigger wicks don’t fit.

Awesome gadget! I bought it for lighting my gas fire pit but also works well with candles or anything else that would require a regular lighter or matches. Charges quickly and charge lasts a long time.

Lights propane grill in a second! Safe and USB charge holds for long time. As long as you turn it off.

Awesome product so far. They actually work...both of them! Plus they tell you what level charge you have! Great stuff, unlike 2 I ordered of another brand. Neither worked, and it wasn't user error!

This lighter has a strong arc and will lite many things.

We have a lot of candles in the house. That said, this lighter is so great and easy to use. The fact that it's rechargeable makes it a must! I've used it dozens of times....still has a full charge.
