False Advertisement
False advertising- I purchased this for my son who loves vehicles and found this online. He's been asking me to buy it for a couple weeks before I finally let him spend his allowance to get it. That was a HUGE MISTAKE! First of all, this is clearly a Range Rover knock off. “Rapid Rapir” So by the ad saying it’s a "1:24 Land Rover Range " is a total misrepresentation of the product. The actual product has a different name because Range Rover/Land Rover filed and won a huge law suit in China for copyright knock offs. Once we opened the Amazon shipping box, the entire package to the knock off is written in Chinese. So unless you read Chinese or know someone who does, you may have difficulty figuring out how to work it at first. We pulled the tab underneath and couldn’t find any bottons or switches. After a couple minutes we found out the tires being touched turn the sounds on. That's pretty dumb because when you put the thing down the lights and sounds constantly stay on and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Rip off, don't buy it!!!UPDATE: It's been a few days and now the lights and sounds stay on anytime there is movement, not just with the tires being touched. The driver's side door fell off randomly when I picked the thing up to move it from one table to another. The latch holding the door on is defective because it's only half the size of the others. And the cheap plastic piece that's supposedly the sunroof is too small and doesn't stay on. My son is very disappointed. This is something he had such high hopes for, and checked the tracking every day to see where it was. Although I gave him back the money he wasted on this item, it upsets me to see something that was so important to him sitting there in pieces uselessly. There's $34 about to go in the trash.
