We look for dark chocolate 80% and above. It has to taste good and also have a silky consistency. Too many of chocolates that are supposedly "dark" are really only 70% or lower. And those that are the higher % too often have the consistency of wax and little taste. Endangered Species makes excellent chocolate.

Super yummy chocolate that's also quite healthy. I love super dark chocolate, and this is non-alkalinized (which means more antioxidants) and has tons of fiber and nutritional value with a minimum of sugar. Finally, Endangered Species is a great company, empowering local farmers, giving back to the environment, and practicing positive farming practices. Only con is that it's slightly more expensive here than in local grocery stores I've been to. Even so, it's quite reasonable all in all.
