So far so good...update not as advertised
So far so good...just received it and getting it ready for its first trip. Item was packaged nicely and was delivered quickly however, the delivery service did NOT pay attention to the clearly labeled tag stating "THIS SIDE UP" as it was left on my doorstep, upside down! I Plugged it in and the first thing I noticed is the motor is very quite. The included instructions could be better but it's general operation is fairly simple and intuitive. The default display was in cellceius and there are no directions on how to switch this to farenheit but I was able to toggle through the options and figured it out on my own. I set the temp and filled it with various food and drink items and left it plugged in overnight and this morning it was at the set temperature and the contents were nice and cold as expected. I will take it out this weekend and plan to provide an update to this review. Like I started...so far so good!UPDATE:When plugged into a static 12v battery, unit keeps shutting down and producing ER1 error message or low power. I checked the batteries and they are full at 13.6v. Unit works error free while plugged into 110v and while driving in the car but only while the car is running. I was wanting to use this in conjunction with my solar but that seems to be out of the question. I lost out on this deal...bummer!
