Jaya 100% Compostable Clear PLA Salad Bowl, 32-Ounce, 300-Count Case

Living alone, I don't use a lot of dishes, so it can take 2-3 weeks (or more sometimes) to dirty enough to run a full load through the dishwasher. I don't like to leave dirty dishes sitting in the dishwasher that long, so I'm always on the lookout for economical environmentally friendly disposable plates/bowls/etc., that are the right size/shape for my needs.I was intrigued when I saw these 32-oz clear salad bowls that are bio-based and compostable. I eat "dinner"-type salads probably 3 times a week, so these looked like they just might work well for that. I took a chance and place my order.I couldn't be happier! These are great -- super size, nice look, NO LIDS which is a plus for me, as I don't need them for my use. The quality is super, too -- they're nice and a little thicker/heavier weight than I expected. With my current usage, 300 of these should last for 2 years, and at less than twenty cents per bowl, this is a bargain.They're only good for cold items -- they'll melt if exposed to hot liquids (so no soup, etc.). That's OK for me -- I got them specifically for cold salads, and they're absolutely perfect for that.

Needed this size disposable bowl for a big part. Inexpensive and will compost down, so no guilt.

Deep and beautiful shape. Our company uses these for our chilled Ramen Salads. 100% compostable is also a massive plus. From the outside they look like a normal plastic bowl, but poor boiling water on them and they nearly disappear! Progressive design is fantastic. No lids, like nearly every other bulk container purchases.

Needed just bowls for the lids that we are buying of the local restaurant Depot... And these were a perfect fit.

I consider them expensive but they work for what i want them for (acai bowls) perfectly.

this is the BOWL ONLY. does not include covers. I ordered the 300-count case. I would not have spent that much money on this product, had I known that it came without covers. Yes, when I checked back I saw in the product details that covers sold separately, but the picture is misleading, as this is a product that is only useful with the covers.

Useless without lids. Enough said. I don't even see where there is a link to buy the lids. Sorry I missed these reviews before I purchased. I do not see this in the product description. Bad product for that reason. Useless without lids!

Lids do not stay on, it is a good environmental solution but needs better execution.
