I am so happy with this product. I do wish the gel caps were vegan, and I hate that I gave up and tried these,. but the pain was intense and lasting for a year....so here we are. I carry a few around with me at all times. I guess I am not burping like the other reviewers, but have a minty burp sounds kinda fun.

When I get an attack of nerves, this calms it down and I smell like lavender instead of diarrhea. It helps me feel better.

I so wanted to love these. I read some other positive reviews from IBS-D folks (you had me at "sausage poops") and was so hopeful, but it unfortunately didn't work out for me. I was really nervous about these causing me reflux after reading some of the other reviews, so I was careful to take these a full hour before eating, according to the instructions for reflux-prone people. During the hour wait, I did notice a little bit of reflux and the slight taste of the oils which made me wonder if they were bursting too soon. At any rate, I didn't have any totally catastrophic results, but I did notice an increase in my spasms and a worsening of my diarrhea when I have tried these. I'll be setting these aside for awhile and trying other remedies.I gave these 3/5 stars because I really wanted to love them, and it's not any fault of the product that they didn't work for me. They're sweet little frosty brown things, and they're natural, and much more affordable than IB Guard, which I definitely can't afford. I guess every colon is different, and these just don't work for me.EDIT: Since trying these about a year ago, I have come to learn/suspect that I have insufficient stomach acid. Since these are enteric coated for the purpose of surviving exposure to the low pH of stomach acid and not a higher/less acidic pH, maybe that's why they didn't work for me. If they dissolved in my stomach before making it to my intestines, maybe they couldn't work properly. Anyway, I wanted to note that in my review as something for others with low stomach acid to consider, and also to note that my particular body chemistry is no fault of the product.

The only "downside" if one can even call it that, is that about an hour after you take them, you do tend to burp peppermint for about a half hour. Other than that, it is great to use.

I've had IBS off and on for over 45 years.... Early on it was from time to time. Back then I used Gaviscon cause it tasted the best and helped....About two years I started to get it more frequently maybe because I'm in my 70's now.... Everything moves a little slower than it used too... Over the last 6 months it became daily, pain, gas pains, in the stomach , chest and back. nausea burping and constipation....I was a mess.. Went to my DR, gave me a prescription for LInzess, did it work...yes....way to much, it was like Grant marching through Richmond, found it way to strong....Then my son who also has it (runs in the family) told me to try Heathers Tummy Tamers.......Why not.......in 2 days....not 2 weeks, in 2 days......I felt 75% better...stomach pain, back and chest gas pain was gone. nausea still hanging around, but at least it was easing up.. burping still steady........Now it's been 2 weeks....nausea done, except a few brief waves, burping also nearing it's end....Not the best subject in the World to talk about, but I want people to know this stuff works. I'm about 95% good, now, I hope it holds.....Take it on an empty stomach , and only with a little water, or the peppermint will come back up and haunt you....Wish I knew about Heathers a long time ago....

I've suffered from severe IBS symptoms for several years. I don't want to go into the gory details here- Google the symptoms if you don't know. If you do know and you suffer from this, you know it's miserable. I felt bad all day unless I was hungry- that's the only time I wasn't in pain. Then once I ate I felt awful all over again and the symptoms started up again. It never ended. I had all the classic symptoms, 24 hours a day, every day, yet no diagnosis or effective treatment as all tests done by my GI Dr were negative- and I've had every test in the book over the years.I thought I'd give these a try because of all the good reviews and OMG they are LIFE ALTERING- in a good, no GREAT way! For the first time in years I am not uncomfortable and miserable all day long. The painful abdominal spasms, endless bloated feeling, and gassy discomfort is gone. I waited to write this review until I had taken them for a while because I've tried other remedies that worked for a week or two but then the symptoms would return. As of today, I've taken two a day for the last six weeks- one in the morning before I walk, then one midday- both on an empty stomach as directed. For me this is an AMAZING product. I whole-heartedly recommend it, honestly I could be their spokesperson. But I'm not- nor did I get this free. I bought it and will continue to buy it. As I said earlier it has been truly life altering for me- no more pain and nasty symptoms! I hope it does the same for you!

I only took one capsule when suffering from tummy trouble and it definitely worked. It seems much stronger than other brands I have tried before.
