I'm pleasantly surprised by this notebook. I expected from the price to get poor quality, but I've had none of the issues that I saw other reviewers mentioning. All the pages are secure, and even after dragging this thing everywhere for two months, it's still in great shape.I will say that it was a bit smaller than I was expecting, because who pays attention to dimensions? My last journal was a bit bigger and it took a while to adjust to fitting my spreads. By the way, each individual page is 23 dots by 33 (it'd be 34, but the page number is in the position of the last dot). There are 3 pages at the beginning that are a pre-printed table of contents. I've had no issues with bleeding or anything.Also, if it bothers you, mine had the imprint of the elastic band pressed into the cover, so the texture from that is permanently imprinted. It doesn't bother me, but it could bother some people.Oh! there is one thing that is annoying. The dots on facing pages is often offset, so when I'm trying to lay washi tape across both pages, they won't line up on the dots the same way and it is mildly annoying.Other than that, I really like it. Not enough to swear to only use this brand for every journal for the rest of my life, but I'm pleased with my purchase.

Usually when an item arrives damaged I chock it up to the shipping process but the notebook itself is in horrible condition but the packaging seems just fine so I'm assuming it was sent damaged from wherever it was kept. As a bookbinder I can tell that the binding is too loose (likely constructed that way) and the fake leather material is cheap doesn't hold up well. The paper quality is actually very good it's just the shell isn't sturdy enough to last the trip to your doorstep. Will update this review if the seller contacts me with a solution.

It’s exactly as picture but when I opened the journal, pages fell out and there were creases!

This is easy to write in. The cover is my favorite color. It feels and looks great.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this journal from Red Co. It’s a nice in-between size, the pages are thick enough that there is minimal ghosting, and I love the little extras like inside back pocket, elastic closure, and table of contents page. I definitely recommend, especially at such a great price. A value buy in my book!
