Doesn't do anything the Laser Link guns won't do, just harder to use.
I have owned Laser Link products since the beginning. We have owned all their Laser Link laser guns. I bought this to have in case I played a course that didn't have the pyramids. I was disappointed with the performance and the design. I found myself having to constantly move my hat to use the product and in many cases could get a reading on a flag. To bad they didn't stay with the gun design or have a handle you could attach to the bottom. I took my loses and sold it on Ebay. This product didn't do anything the Laser models wouldn't do, just harder to hold and use. A waste of money for me.

Comes up short
This laser range finder may be off on it's distance. I play with two other individuals who use range finders, and this finder registers two yards shorter than theirs consistently. Likelihood that theirs are off is less than the likelihood that this one is not accurate.

I like it that I can carry the Laser Link on ...
I previously had a Bushnell pinseeker pro 1600 that died. I did not want to buy an expensive rangefinder that would die in a few years so I bought the Laser Link. With the pinseeker you pressed the button and released it so that is how I used the Laser Link. However, that only seems to work when the flag is less than 200 yards away. After rereading the instructions I tried scanning with the button depressed and have had much more success. It still is slow with ranges greater than 200 yards, but it works. And I am referring to ranging the flag when there is no wind.The pinseeker is faster at providing a range, but it is also bulkier. I like it that I can carry the Laser Link on my belt on my backside. It is out of the way and easy to get. I would say that it is worth the money.

Not What I Hoped for; This is Progress?
I have used this compamy's old style gun for years and thought it would be good to be able to shoot distances other than just the pin stick. But it is very hard to know what you have in the sight with this. Result is bad results when shooting the pin stick. So what I have gained I have more than lost. Disappointing.

Very difficult to get a true reading. Three tries from Sam location gave three totally different results!Sent back!
