Works like a charm!
Ok- so I donāt usually write reviews. But this product is awesome. My dryer vent is 27 feet, with an elevation of 8 feet and 3 elbows. I bought 2 of the packages so I could have 24 feet. They are 1 foot fiberglass segments with metal male and female screw in. This product was able to bend around elbows and was sturdy enough to feel comfortable that it would hold together as it would suck for it to break off 15 feet deep. Worked like a charm to loosen the debris. Used my leaf blower to blow out all the lint and now the dryer is working perfectly. Canāt rave enough about this product. Previously had a āprofessionalā come out and use his compressor with a modified tennis ball on the end with holes, but he could only do 12 feet. $150 later and a half cleaned pipe. Never again. This product is sturdy enough to use again and again and again. Really great to find a perfect tool that is well made. Well done!

Helpful Tool, Tricky to Take a Part
I just moved into a new house and our inspection showed the Dryer Vent was not cleaned - probably for a few years. I am doing laundry every day (3 kids + 2 adults) and didn't want to risk anything with our new home purchase. The cleaning kit worked really well. I strongly recommend using it with a drill as it makes the whole thing easier and faster. I'd give it 5 stars, except I did have a few concerns:- I really could use another 3 sections. It would be great if you could buy extensions without needing to buy a whole other kit.- Adding the extension pieces can be a bit tedious (but it isn't hard).- Taking it apart is AWFUL! I was able to do it the first time with my hands, but the second time we had to use plyers to grip it and twist each section apart. It was very disappointing and scratched the metal connectors. My best guess is that using the drill caused the sections to tighten (I didn't use the drill the first time). It is still completely workable, just a bit more difficult than it should be.

WORKS LIKE A CHARM!
Excellent product. Well designed and well made. I bought two and combined the 18 pole segments to make a 24 ft long dryer vent cleaner. So I have a spare nylon brush. I wish I would have taken a video of all the lint shooting out of the vent when I used this tool! For information: I used blue tape on each connection joint on the pole segments just as an extra precaution to reduce the risk that the 24 ft length of pole Might unscrew at the joints while inside the vent and spinning. A must to keep your dryer safe and efficient. Since my vent is very long it traps the lint and gets clogged. A clogged could be very bad for many reasons, I will clean it out every 2 months now that I have this great tool. I highly recommend this product for my friends.

Worked just fine through 3 medium sharp bends in rigid duct
Last year I had to crawl under the house to sort out poor dryer performance and take apart the duct. This year we had to replace the dryer and I didn't want to crawl again. I used this from the outside vent side and it went through 3 bends to get the duct clean. I tried it from the dryer side but the 90 deg elbow just under the floor was too tight for it. Used a makita drill. I went in about 4 feet at a time then pulled out again to bring out the lint. After going as far as I could from the outside I tried again from the inside but couldn't make the bend. Then I used a leaf blower from the inside to blow out the rest. hard to take apart after using the drill to spin it; had to use a pair of channel-lock pliers. But it all worked as planned.

It works just ok
I loved the idea of being able to clean out the lint line myself to save money. This product had 2 sections broken or cracked when I received it. I should have just returned it then. However, I decided to give it a try since I still had enough sections to do the line. I duct-taped each section together because it will not stay together on its own trust me. It did ok at first but, the further I got the harder it was to keep it together. it did break but luckily not so far in the line that I couldn't retrieve it. I wouldn't purchase this product again and will either continue looking for a more durable product or pay to have the dryer vent line cleaned in the future.

My husband says that it is easy to use and works great!
Now I don't have to nag my husband to clean the dryer vent. Large bath towels would take forever to dry, and often shut down the dryer due to overheating. Using the brush, and his battery powered drill, he was able to clean a ten foot section of venting, which contained a couple of curves, in about 20 minutes, from outside of the house. His previous method was to disassemble the venting in the basement, carry it outside, clean out the separate pieces with a shop vac, and reassemble/install in the basement. He is happy again, at least for today.

Works... with a catch.
The media could not be loaded. So I really like this vent cleaner for several reasons... but there is a catch.PROS- rods are easy to connect to each other and to the brush head- once firmly attached to the drill bit the whole rod spins nicely and is easy to maneuver in the vent.- the rods themselves are the perfect balance of sturdiness and flexibility- worked well to clean out my vent that had dry lint clogging the endCONS- the kit does not come with any way to actually attach the rod end to the drill bit. This confused me since the description suggests that it is designed to be used with a drill if desired. I ended up using grey tape to secure it. This worked well but was nearly impossible to remove once the job was done. It took some SERIOUS elbow grease. I should probably have just thrown the drill away at that point š.- after cleaning my vent, I have not been able to unscrew the rods for each other. They are stuck. And let me tell you, I have some strong hands, havenāt met a jar lid yet that I couldnāt budge but these suckers are apparently my nemesis. In retrospect, maybe some pre-greasing of those joints would have helped to keep the joints from sticking??
