QuintessenceQ-Sunshade Leave in Conditioner SPF 30 & Scalp Protectant

I really like the way my hair curls up after using this product but it is NOT to be used if you dye your hair. I am rocking purple hair and this damaged my color with each use.

A little greasy but worked ok

It's a little more lotion-like than regular conditioners, and than I hoped, but it's much more thin and lightweight than regular lotions, also. I have very thinning hair on the top of my head, which I trimmed to about 1/4 inch a couple times a month. I burn easily, especially my scalp, since it is so often pointing at the sun. :) I like using this product much more than any other SPF I've put on my head. Expensive, but I only use a tiny bit each time. I put it on after I get out of the shower, but make sure my hair is still slightly damp, and it spreads easily that way. I have not burned while using this -- but I also don't spend full days in constant, full sun. But it worked well while I walked around Disney parks for a week!

I bought this because my scalp burns. I have a great hair, thick, straight, silky but i have a part and bangs. I think its expensive for the small amount but i bought it anyway. I have only used it once so far, i did not get burnt. But im not sure how much exposer i had. I dont nornally use leave in conditioners and overall i dont use a lot of product. This product does smell good and went on fairly easy. But it still left the top of my head and my bangs looking a little oily, like i hadn't washed hair. This is the part i dont like and was trying to avoid. But i guess it wasnt that bad. I may have to play around with how i apply to it to see it that works any better. I bought two others products at the same time and all 3 are about the same.

I have used it every time I went to be in the sun for a long period of time, after a terrible sunburn on my scalp. I ordered it in response to the peeling an misery of a burned head. It stays in great. I used it for the beach and lake. I do not use it as an everyday product. It is too thick for everyday use but for my purpose, which is to swim and be in the sun, it is amazing. After a day at the lake I could still feel it moisturizing my hair in the shower, I put it in before snorkeling and I did not get burned at all. My hair is thin and I am in love with this product. Will order every summer. I put in on my scalp and brush it through my hair, have done it with wet and dry hair, didn't matter. It gives you a wet hair look which is OK with me at the lake pool or beach.

My hair is really fine and I've used it 2 days in a row and no scalp burn! Scent smells fresh and not overpowering. I put it on my fingertips and rub it in directly on my scalp before getting in the sun or pool. Now I haven't tried to fix my hair with it in, but it's great if you're just laying around the pool or beach! I would highly recommend this product!!

I used it once and gave it away because it felt gritty.

I have skin cancer surgery scars on my scalp as well as thinning hair and this is perfect to protect my skin. My hair can easily get greasy but this does not cause it to do so. I use a tiny amount and try to only get it on my scalp and not the hair, then use the rest to coat the ends. I am happy with this product.
