Arrived at my house pretty and thriving. After winter, all are dead

2nd purchase; 2nd all died
Although the plants looked OK when they arrived (just like the first time I ordered them), they failed to grow at all and slowly died (same as the first plants). After the first plants failed, I read extensively to ensure that I was handling the plants and planting correctly; however, this order's plants failed the same as the first order.
