Makes cleaning and our whole home more fun/Beyond helpful customer service
Update number 3/Nov. 14th: It's been several weeks now with my V3 replacement vacuum (who my family have named, "Roberta") and I am very very happy. This vacuum uses a chip and something called "gyro navigation" instead of a more expensive camera-mounted robot vacuums but has a similar efficient navigation pattern. It's actually AI, *cue theme song to, The Jetsons!* The artificial intelligence "learns" the routes of your home over time which blows my mind. I run the V3 twice a day in my two bedroom Brooklyn apartment and it picks up dust and cat hair off of my tile, hardwood, and low pile area rugs easily both on normal and high powered mode. I'ma clean freak so usually run it at full blast.I specifically purchased the V3 for the low-profile so it would fit under dressers, low sofas, and bookshelves, which it does easily. The manufacturer includes replacement side brushes just in case, and a great brush/slicing tool that I use to clean the main brush once a week when it sucks up quite a bit of my long hair. (Cleaning the main brush is quite easy by the way, you pop out the yellow center panel with two tabs, and then pop out the long roller brush, before using the slicing tool to remove any long hair that may have been tangled up. The process, including reassembly, usually takes 120 seconds, tops.)The vacuum talks to you, by the way - if it is stuck it tells you which wheel (right or left is entangled) so setting the V3 back on it's merry vacuuming course is easy and user-friendly. The vacuum also communicates with you with flashing lights. When it is flashing "yellow" it is telling you it has finished one "area" of a larger room. Red flashing means low battery or charging, and the V3 will "announce" to you it is taking itself to charge as it independently navigates itself back to the charging bay. The green flashing light means the AI is learning a route.I've also run the moping function twice now for quick touch ups. The Mondarian art design on the case of the V3 is absolutely charming. Also, no one has yet mentioned that when the V3 finishes cleaning a room the vacuum announces "cleaning has finished" and plays a celebratory jingle similar to the "Mario Kart" video game! The first time my vacuum did it, my partner and I looked at each other and laughed at "Roberta" (these robots are easy to anthropomorphize) for a solid minute. "She" is highly efficient, fun, and innovative, all at a super competitive price point. It's quite rare to find a mass marketed appliance that is clearly designed with such love. I'm becoming a big fan of the new Vanigo brand. They are a joyful change and addition to the sterile (pun intended) world of home keeping.Update:The customer service has been a DREAM!!! My replacement vacuum is working great. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and I couldn't be more grateful. I will update the review again in a few weeks to if my replacement vacuum holds up.This shipped on September 2, 2018 from Amazon. I received it a few days later. Today is October 23, 2018 and my robot no longer charges or vacuums. You can turn it on and off so the light blinks but that's it. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in my $200 purchase that lasted...a month. I've just e-mailed customer service in Hong Kong about warranty information. I loved it...when it worked. I'm quite upset about this.

Attractive, but didn't work.
We had high hopes for this vacuum. Unfortunately, it fell very short. We received the robot and it took a charge. On its first cleaning we tried it on our main floor, which is all hardwood. Our house layout it not complicated, and we don't have any clutter laying around. While it seemed to clean ok, it could not find its way back to the charge and got stuck in a hallway. We reset the device and tried again - still no luck. After multiple tries we finally got it to find the base. From there we started multiple cleanings and out of the probably 15 times we had it clean, it successfully made it back to the base twice. It either got stuck, lost, or we would find it turned off randomly in parts of the floor. When we tired it upstiars on the carpet things got worse. At first we tried it in the bedroom, which is a square room with very little furniture in it. The carpet pile isn't thick and shouldn't be an issue for the robot to clean. The robot, after many tries, was never able to clean for more than 10 minutes before stopping and saying "Side brush stuck, please check the side brush" over and over. This error does not stop and is very annoying. The side brushes were not stuck - they just get hung up on the carpet and the robot stops. The robot, even when put directly in front of the doc, would not dock on the charger and instead would get stuck trying to do so.I removed both side brushes to see if it would clean the carpet using only the main brush. This was never successful as it created a new error on the robot that says "main brush entangled, please clean the main brush" after only a few minutes of cleaning. This error also repeats itself over and over again until you turn the device off. Also, the brush was not actually entangled - we have no pets and the carpet had been recently vacuumed beforehand. This device only successfully cleaned 2 or 3 times (out of 20+ tries) any floor of our house. Our house is already clean and has a average floor plan. Its a gimmick and won't replace an actual vacuum.

Not good for area rugs, but ok for everything else
It sucks up plenty of cat and dog hair, and it moves in a pretty efficient pattern. The edge cleaning mode was nice. The only problem with it was that it could not get over area rugs without getting stuck. It might be different for a really thin rug, but I felt like ours was pretty thin, low pile carpet and it was impossible for it to get over. The problem is the two side brushes run under the rug and get caught. And when it gets caught or stuck slightly, that would throw off it's navigation, because it doesn't have any way to sense where it is or if it's moving or not.It also doesn't consistently go home, even when it's in clear view of the charging station. So if you don't have area rugs, or you can just pick them up whenever it cleans, it works ok. It does suck up a lot of stuff, and you can work around it's downsides.

Update, service fix for main brush issue.. Cats haven't taken a ride on it yet but they will
Update, recently stopped working and giving me a main brush entanglement warning with no entanglement visible. I actually found that the main brush is a separate carriage unit and has a plastic white gear that's belt driven by a single small motor. The bushing heats up making it out of round and creates plastic on plastic friction and makes the motor think that it's entangled. I was able to take that assembly apart, sand the carriage that holds the bushing inplace and the bushing itself down just lightly, put a little bit of grease on the gear, re-assembled the unit. Works perfectly again. Working on a dust cover for the bushing so I can make sure it stays clean.Really easy to disassemble and took about 30 minutes to fix. I see many of the reviews is this issue, so I'm hoping this helps as I have been unable to contact customer service. I did however sent them a message with the fix including the dust cover retrofit. I'll be happy to also walk anyone through disassembly and the fix.Fast shipping. Works great, plays a little Mario brothers tune after it's done. Always finds the base and it really gets all the cat hair up.
