This is so much fun!What I like the most about this is to not copy but get the traits I waned in the felt character. And it’s ok if it looks deranged. Better in fact!I wanted to experiment and try my own ideas and taking some of the directions helped to understand how to do this but it is totally up to you how to interpret the characters. This was my second one. The first I did I gave away and she loved it! It was not any of the shown characters but a toothy pink daisy.I didn’t worry about making mistakes and took my experience of learning how to felt and adapted it as I went. I was willing to try something I didn’t know to make it my own. It really allows you to be creative. It will benefit in the long run for other characters I will want to make. Lots of fun. And easy to pick up.

I was really excited when I got this kit, it comes with all the tools you need, including a variety of colors, and it inspires such fun creature ideas! It also includes a QR code that that’s takes you to multiple, (short) tutorials for different shapes, and teaches you the basics of needle felting! I thought it was going to be much harder than it was. (You don’t even need to watch the whole tutorial to pick it up.) I actually bought the same kit for a friend, who loved it also!

I am a crafty person never did this beforeIt's very time consuming but it's great!The instructions are kinda vagueJust gotta be brave and play with the material to adjust to itI've only made 1 plant but I customized mine from the instructions but you can do so much with this medium! We recently kept all 3 of our grandkids for 8 days. My 11-year-old granddaughter is artistic and loves trying new crafts. I ordered this with the intention of our trying it together (neither of us had ever tried the needle felting before.)Well, I showed her the box as I was starting dinner the first night. She grabbed it and took it to the bedroom and by the time dinner was done she had made an adorable mushroom on her first try.So I never actually tried it myself; she pulled it out almost every evening after school and worked on it, and then took the kit home with her when they left the next week. So I call that a success.I bought this kit based on the fun-looking characters, the reviews, and the price; it is a great value for the price and was the same price or lower than other options.

I was really excited for this kit because the pictures looked so cute. I've bought several others from Woolbuddy and have quickly become an avid felter! This kit specifically did not come with enough white wool to build out three items. I used the directions to create a large green cactus and it used up all of the white wool, and it was still smaller than the picture shown, so I used some of my scraps from other kits. The pots are cute, but there isn't enough wool to fill them and create 3 different figures.
