Small Hand Foods Grenadine Syrup - 8.5 oz

I don't like overly sweet things, and I found I really liked this. It might be a tiny bit sweet for me, but I am a real lover of sour vs. sweet, so this is probably perfect for most people. We bought this to make mocktails during quarantine but really found ourselves not using it that way for whatever reason. But then it came to the rescue when I wanted to make a raspberry cake.I had bought a raspberry baking emulsion from a different vendor, and even though it was supposed to be alcohol-free, it tasted like cough syrup. We had bought raspberry Jell-O to flavor the cake mix with, but I was hoping for a more intense raspberry flavor. Well, this isn't raspberry, but I figured it would punch up the cake nicely, and it did! I mixed about 1/3 cup of this with 2 Tbsps lemon juice and 1 Tbsp of Naked Juice Blue Machine and then just added more in small amounts of each of these until I got the right balance of sweet and sour for me (a little more sour because a cake mix is generally sweet). Between replacing the water with that mixture and adding pureed raspberries, we got a raspberry cake that was as intense as a fruit rollup. Big hit with the family.Also came in handy when we ran out of salad dressing. It's got a lot of sugar, so you don't want to use it that way on a regular basis, but for one time in a pinch, it was great.Anyway, thanks for a great product, and I hope it returns soon.

This was my first time buying grenadine, and I did quite a bit of research prior to my purchase. I did not want an overly sweet and artificially colored syrup. I used Small Hand grenadine to make Singapore Slings today, and was very happy with both the color and the flavor. I hope Small Hand continues to be available on Amazon because I will buy this brand again.

This makes drinks that require grenadine taste like they are supposed to. Wish this was available at the grocery store instead of that fake bright colored stuff. After using this product I could never use another corn syrup based concoction again. The taste from this when mixed in the drink is amazing.

I haven't been able to find real Grenadine in the stores. This is the real McCoy for those that don't care for artificialproducts.

Use for manhattans and love the flavor. Will buy again.

The flavor is much better than cheaper grenadines, and makes better cocktails. The only downside is that it doesn't give the red color that some cocktails use grenadine for.

I like that it does not have a long list of ingredients. But unfortunately, I could not taste the grenadine flavor.
