We love it. But the filament runs out quite if you draw any of the designs given in then manual ideas for beginner. It uses eco plastic which is rather costly.

Great gift(s). Bought two, one for each of our nieces- ages 8 & 10.This specific kit came with the 3Doodler and the ability to make your own hexebugs. Really cute and cool.You can also buy 3Doodler refills and continue to use this.I would definitely buy these again. Great gift for the money, and keeps their attention well.

this is the 3rd 3Doodler Start pen that I've purchased for my kids. the first two unfortunately stopped working after about 1.5 to 2 years.My kids love to make things with the 3Doodler start, and they are able to mold the filiment after it comes out because the temperature is not overly hot (like on most other 3d pens for older kids/adults).the only drawback is that the replacement filiments can get expensive, but that's the tradeoff for this kid friendly filiment that is safe after heating. as previously mentioned, our first 2 pens stopped working. one of them needed to be replaced (under warranty) in the first year as it jammed (melted filiment stuck in the housing and broke the tip). and both, after 1.5 to 2 years just stopped working (unsure what happened)

This is an ok starter set I suppose but everything about it is cheap/budget quality. It’s just good enough to use but it’s not something you’ll keep using forever. This set is more age appropriate for age 5-8 year olds. Not 9+ In my opinion.The Positives: USB charging, kid safe and it comes with fun little templates to get you started.The Negatives: Short battery life (about15 minutes). Overall cheap quality. Templates are good for small children or complete beginners but anyone with even a little creativity will find themselves getting board with the included templates.

Is super fun and easy to use it is well worth the money

Bought this for my 8 year old Son for X-Mas. I play with it more than he does. Lol. Its the bug kit but I printed a template for the Eiffel Tower to play around. It's definitely worth the money.

I want to love this product but I can’t. We have bought their 3d doodler start pen twice and both pens have become unusable within two weeks of opening the package. My daughter loves to create in 3D. The things she makes when the pen works are truly amazing. But the pen broke quickly. Customer service is really nice but the first time they asked me to skype so I could fix the pen myself instead of giving me a replacement. I am in the middle of talking with customer service for the second pen so we will see. I am beyond frustrated and mad at myself for spending the money. Not only did I buy this amazing hex bug package but the Dino package and 40.00 of replacement plastics in all colors. Now I have 40.00 in colors and no pen again.
