Beautiful book I really liked the size too easy to hold and carry around

What a delightful book. I had seen some of these in the flesh before but to see them all in such clear detail is a delight.This has inspired me to paint more skies. I have not read the monograph but a skim leads me to suppose that it will be well written and informative

Having just received this book, the first thing I notice is the small size. I had assumed it would be roughly A4 size, and I should have checked the product details which clearly state 17.5 x 1.8 x 19.6 cm. Nonetheless, it looks promising.

I'm in love with this book. This artists work is truly inspiring and emotional.It is because of this master, and turner, that love art and in particular their style of art.An amazing book for any constable enthusiast.

Buying books online is a very different and in most ways inferior process to visiting bookshops, not least because it is difficult to register the size of a book from a tiny reference to cms. compared to the experience of handling the thing prior to a decision about purchases one way or the other. Constable's skies deserve much larger reproductions than they receive in in this mean, titchy little book. The text is fine, but so it should be.

The images, which is kind of the point of a book on Constable, we’re printed on a toned paper which means every image that had pale colours or white was tinted the colour of the background paper.

This describes Constable's sketches in detail, beneficial for any plein air and studio artists.

Printing quality terrible. Useless book for someone like me who purchased book in order to closely scrutinize Constables skies.Absolutely useless.
