I am an Afro-Caribbean woman .I actually love this product ( this brand) to be specific. I use it all over my hair, face and my entire body. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I have been using this Shea butter for more than a month and I can see the results and it’s a positive one.Originally, I bought this tub to make my hair product.. however my skin gets really dry in the winter months and this is the only product that helps to relieve that dryness.. also my Eczema flares up on my back in the winter too and this Shea butter certainly provides great reliefIt goes on my face oily , however when it dries the oil is gone leaving my face nice and soft. I think it’s also helping to reduce my hyperpigmentation (I’ll update at a later date) as I watch this progress)I highly recommend this brand I’ve had no issues so far two thumbs up.

The best shes butter I’ve ever used

I was buying what I thought to be shea butter in the small round tubs here on Amazon. At first for years, I had no problems buying them. Different sellers came and went, but they were always fulfilled by Amazon. The last batch I got was just awful.This is a good deal for the Shea Butter I've grown accustomed to using. A lot less greasy, mild scent that is not totally repulsive and it IS NOT GRAINY. I hope this supplier/manufacturer remains here at Amazon so I can continue to purchase my Shea Butter from this source.Ivory in color is unrefined. Darker yellow color could be refined or unrefined with a particular "medicinal root" included in the making process. White Shea Butter is refined.UPDATE: Since the last time I purchased this (less than a year ago ~ the price has gone up over $6.00.) I'm on a new search to find a replacement. GREED at its finest on display here.

This product, combined with my technology, is quickly absorbed into the skin and gives it a soft and fresh scent

This was the first time I ordered shea butter that was 100% unadulterated. It is fairly hard but softens from the warmth of my hands. Combined with one part coconut oil and two parts shea butter, it makes a nice moisturizer. I have not used it more than a week, but I expect to be satisfied with results. It absorbs quite quickly. It has an odd smell. I understand now why more refined shea butter moisturizers use fragrance. The smell cannot be described - it's almost smokey. It appears to fade after it has been applied for a while.
