I've used these to put on the bottom of my Keds for dancing and they work great. I threw away the first pair of shoes from being too worn out, but the soles didn't come off. I've been using the second one close to a year. I image they won't work well on highly textured shoe soles, but for Keds it's pretty good. I make sure to put a lot of pressure on the bottom and jump a lot to ensure good adhesion before dancing in them.

I lined a Leather IWB holster with it. Much more comfortable, and it no longer slips down!

EDIT: I just bought my 2nd set since they are getting shiny slippery and one of the edges is starting to come loose (after 4 months of dancing in them twice a week, and accidentally dancing in them outside on a stone patio one day). I love these but am bummed with the shipping! Everything was perfect the first time but this time they sent it folded in half, so there was a permanent crease down the middle. I asked to exchange it since I didn’t want to risk that area detaching from my shoes prematurely, but the replacement just arrived with the same exact problem, only it was even more creased and a little crumpled. Hopefully 3rd time’s a charm to get a sheet that arrives flat.******I’m using these with Keds for swing dancing — so far I’ve put maybe 15-20 hours wear into them and they’ve been fantastic. Great option for suede soles if you’re not ready to buy expensive dance shoes or want to use your own sneakers! Mine have zero signs of anything coming loose, if anything dancing has completely sealed them into the soles.The only two little things - it would be nice if they sold a charcoal grey option since that’s what color they eventually turn anyway, ha. And the adhesive was smelly when applying and makes my dance bag smell a little, but it’s pretty minor. It’s not noticeable at all wearing them. Overall, definitely recommend!

These are put on my wife's sneakers for a practice dance shoe. She wears them to and from practice and they stay stuck to her shoes.

Perfect for sueding my 17" ball-jointed doll! Easy to cut and the glue is excellent and simultaneously able to be repositioned and shaped into place without leaving residue behind.I would have really appreciated this in my dancing days as well.

Used this to resole a pair of ballroom heels I had placed a rubber sole over. The adhesive is very strong and worked well. Just wish it was a little cheaper.

These worked for two or three nights, and then the suede started sliding off of the right sole because of repeated pivoting. I can't dance tango without pivoting, so this didn't work for me. I have gone to a shoe-repair place before and asked them to glue suede onto other shoes, which worked very well. Next, I will try gluing it on myself. I think the sticky backing that this product has doesn't work for this application.

Have used before. Use it for backing on copper bracelets.
