These lights look pretty awesome. My TV is a 48” and it seemed to fit the back very well. I would assume if you had a wall mounted tv this would work especially well. I was happy to see that the lights automatically power off when the tv is turned off and they continue to whatever function they were operating on when the tv is turned back on. In other words if you had the light on flash, red, or off then when you turn the tv back on it will still be set on the same function.When the light is set to a constant light color the remote can adjust the brightness of that color. If the light is set to a function such as fade or strobe then the brightness controlles will change the speed of the function instead of the brightness.

For whatever reason, this product came to me with a female connector on the lights and on the USB cable both. Perhaps there is supposed to be something that goes between? If there is, then I didn't get it or it was just wrong. I was able to futz around and cut four little pieces of wire to fit into the female connectors on both to get it to work, but really... shouldn't have to do that. Otherwise, pretty cool.edit: So the vendor sent an email offering to send me the missing bit and though I'm not taking them up on the offer because I don't want to have to undo my workaround, I'm altering my review. The adhesive seems to be working fine for me, although it's clearly not meant to stick around the corners, but whatever. The remote and different colors and effects are all working as expected and really very cool. I would have liked for there to be some decent instructions so that I might be able to tell that I'm missing a piece rather than have to McGiver the thing to get it working, but again, whatever. The price is really good and I'm happy with the result.

I want to start by saying the led light strip is not the problem here. It is the poor quality adhesive that comes attached to it.Packaging:It was packaged nice, but they were shipped with a padded envelope so the box took a little beating. Other than that the packaging was simple and straight forward. The package shows the light strip using 3m adhesive. I will say right now that is not true. The seller stands behind it, but I know it is not because all industrial 3m tape used for this is labeled 3m.Main Product:The led’s are bright and the fact that they can be powered by the USB port on the TV is nice. The strip itself seems to be the product of scraps of longer strips or potentially defective ones. The reason I say this is because there are a fair amount of solder joints on the strip I received. That being said, it hasn’t diminished the quality of the strip. The strip itself has a thinner copper conductor than others I have used, but not bad for this length.Overall:I would avoid this cable unless you would like to rebuild it yourself. The seller is nice and tried to resolve the issue by sending out another unit, but the adhesive was the same and the problem persisted. I ended up buying new adhesive and soldering in all bends with wires so the cable could be placed on the TV as flat as possible. This has fixed the issue, but has double the cost. I would recommend trying a different brand with a better adhesive and potentially multiple segments to fit your TV.

These lights are Just what I wanted for my Bedroom. They accent the room great while the room lights are off and even act as a Nightlight bc u can dim them! My Dog loves to sleep in the Doorway so If we have to get up in the middle of the night we need to grab a small flashlight to see where she is. This takes care of that problem!If U buy these Make sure u Clean whatever surface ur placing them on! After u clean it use a paper towel with rubbing Alcohol and go over the area ur putting them. I saw a bunch of people saying the lights were falling off! This would be y!I will say that the Customer service is Amazing, They sent an email the day I received the lights with Tips on placing them and to make sure everything was good with the shipment and to remind me to remove the plastic strip from the remote! Also saw a lot of those posts! Already had them up and going but it was still nice to hear from them!Overall I love these lights they did exactly what I wanted and are exactly as Advertised! If u have an issue just contact them Theyre very Friendly and willing to help! Hope u like urs as much as I like mine!

I ordered this to put around the rim of my Leopard Gecko cage which is a 20 gallon tank and it works perfectly! I had some trouble getting the tape to stay in place but with some work I got it to stay where I wanted it. This was not the fault of the product though, I don't think it was meant to stick onto glass. I love how I can change the color and the remote. It is also not too bright since it is supposed to be a back light which is good because it does not hurt my Leo's eyes. The light does not enhance her color in anyway though and can cause her to look washed out but it doesn't bother me I just want to be able to see her. So if you are going to use it for the same purpose I would keep that in mind.

They work ok, but the adhesive strip is really weak. My strip became loose after a couple of hours after installing it from certain segments, while others still seem to hold for now.Edit [2018-10-10]:It came off from almost everywhere.Edit [2018-10-16] : After contacting support, I was refunded and a new strip is to be sent to me. It seems the batch I ordered had a problem with the addhesive. Will update my review accordingly when receiving the new product.Edit [2018-11-26]: I got my replacement and installed it recently. It's been about 2 weeks now and the thing is almost completelly loose again. Avoid this product, the adhesive won't hold for long.
