We weren't sure how this slushy machine would measure up to name brand ones such as the Ninja Slushi. After quite a bit of research, we decided to give it a try due to the cheaper price and added value of being able to make soft serve ice cream, and I'm glad we gave this product a shot. It has performed above expectations. So, far, we have made cherry coke slushies and soft serve ice cream - both turned out excellent. Neither took too long to freeze since the sugar content of the liquids was adequate. It may take a little experimentation with recipes and the settings to get results to match your preferences, but this slushy machine makes the process quite simple just by following the provided instruction manual and inspiration guide.Cleanup is fairly easy and straightforward as well for this type of product. The parts that need washing come apart easily and are all dishwasher safe. Everything seems as sturdy as other brands. All of these machines use mostly plastic for the removable parts that need to be cleaned. I do wonder if replacement parts would be available were they ever needed.I should preface all of this by saying, initially, we did have liquid leaking from the dispenser even when it was in the closed position, but we contacted the seller and they were very responsive. They sent a video showing how to tighten a few screws on the dispenser piece, and after snugging these up (which only took a few seconds), it hasn't leaked a drop since. Very impressed with their customer service. That is definitely a factor in this 5-star rating. Only time will tell how good the internals of this machine are (compressor, etc.), but the seller is currently providing a decent warranty, so we are at this time, impressed with the product and product support.

Bought this on prime day, a bit of an impulse buy, a bit of a splurge. We didn't expect to use it as much as we have been. We have been having frozen margaritas almost every night. So easy to prep, use and clean. It's great for making just a couple for the two of us or for a night in with friends. It's pretty quiet and doesn't take too long to freeze. For as much as we have already used it and plan to use it, it's worth the price. Highly recommend.

works great but i wish it would make soft serve more firm so it could make cone other than that it’s quiet. makes good slushes & milk shakes ice cream is good just don’t seem to make it hard enough to make cones
