Works as expected. Great Price.
I'm a 3-4 handicap. I lost my Bushnell and expect to lose more rangefinders in my lifetime. I'm just that type of person. That said, I'm an avid golfer and I'm willing to spend money on superior golf products, provided that they really are better. However, after trying a friend's Laserworks "Pro X7," I didn't think the performance difference between my lost Bushnell and the Pro X7 justified the difference in price. After 10 rounds here is my comparison between my X7 and my lost Bushnell:Pros- Unlike my 3-year-old, $350 Bushnell, the Pro X7 -- Includes Slope, which works reasonably well. First, the actual distance to pin flashes, then the slope is shown (e.g., -.2) and finally the estimated yards, including the slope is given; all in 1-2 seconds from the initial measure. Of course, there are now upgraded Bushnell models that include Slope, but I still consider this an upgrade over my previous rangefinder.- Like my Bushnell, the Pro X7 provides a suitable replacement for "pin seeker;" from within 150 yards, I actually think that it works better. A line below a box outlines the flagstick confirming for you that you've actually captured the flag and not some background image;- Unlike my Bushnell, the Pro X7 has some other modes (EG, can measure a deer that is running's KMH), includes a fog mode, etc.- The Pro X7 is a better fit with my Monument Golf magnet cart adapter than was my Bushnell was.- The wireless recharge works well and I haven't had to charge the battery in over 10 rounds- The X7 is more compact and lightweight that my Bushnell, yet equally as sturdyCons :- The green color is kinda ugly / blends in on a golf course- The lens does not zoom in as much as a Bushnell. Assume the Bushnell is 2X and this is 1.5X -- from within 150 yards, it doesn't make much of a difference. But from 150 to 250 yards, this is slightly more difficult to read the flag than my Bushnell was. If you need enhanced "magnification" in a rangefinder, you may be disappointed with this rangefinder. If you can see reasonably well and you're merely trying to measure distances, this rangefinder works great. Overall, I'm satisfied with this rangefinder and will continue to use it.Note: I bought this rangefinder for $99 and think for less than $100, this rangefinder is a bargain.

I'm reluctant to say this is a great deal.....
...only because I don't want them to raise their price!. This unit is absolutely fantastic for the price of $100. I have used a hand-held Golf GPS at least 20 years ago and then finally replaced it with a Garmin wristwatch Golf GPS about 4 or 5 years ago and still using it.I bought this one for my wife to give me a chance to compare the two. The only advantage my wristwatch GPS has over this range finder is that the Garmin is attached to my wrist and all I have to do is look at it for a reading. This range-finder excel in every detail from price to precise measurement. I shot the range of a tree in my yard that measured 19 yds. away. I took a cloth tape measure and measured the distance to be 57 feet which is indeed 19 yards. The unit also came fully charge or at least had a charge on it.My wife is a golfer and wanted a Golf GPS so I convinced her to try a Golf Range Finder which would give me a chance to compare the two. I now plan to purchase another one for myself shortly after I send this post or certainly within two days.I may wait until tomorrow (9-14-2018) and take it to the driving range so I can get an accurate reading of the flags on the range from where I am hitting the ball which will allow me to dial in the true distance I am hitting my irons at.I can't imagine what the higher end Range-Finders offer that this one does not.OH I ALMOST FORGOT!!!I LOVE the fact that you don't have to worry about replacing batteries as I have always just recharged my GPS via a USB port. My Golf buddy was using a Bushnell during one of our rounds only to discover his battery was dead. I gave the yard readings but was unable to give the elevations.NOW HERE IS A SLIGHT DING ON THE PRODUCT WHICH WILL REDUCE THE RATING FROM A 5 TO A 4.9They do indeed include a USB cable to charge the unit but you must have a laptop, vehicle USB port, USB charging bar or a USB 110AC wall plug to use it. Fortunately for me I am in possession of all of the above.

Works just as good as models 4 times as much.
I have been using this range finder on the course for about a month now and have used it side by side with my friends Bushnell set that were 4 times the cost of these. Both rounds that I used it with him I got the same readings within a yard (usually the same exact distance). The pin feature worked perfectly even with my hands shaking. You cannot go wrong buying these affordable finders as they worked just as good as the much more expensive models.

Why bother with any other range finder? Love this thing
I golf 2-3 times a month and play with buddies that all use $200-$500 range finders. I've used them all and we are always +/-2 yrds of one another. If I call out a yardage, they don't even both using these units. Save yourself from the expensive over priced units and buy this thing. Also RECHARGEABLE via USB wireless docking station. Very few expensive models even offer this. There really is only about three differences from the units x2-x5 the price and these difference are NOT worth it.These are 3 things this $100 doesn't have compared to the expensive units and I don't think they mean much.1. Lack of a standard zoom. You get more then enough, Bushnell and Callaway have a .5 to 1.0 greater zoom. Only makes it easier to hit a pin from +200 out. This unit has no problem at 250 hitting just may take a few extra seconds.2. Not the easiest interface out of the box when trying to find the SLOPE option. Setting I like best is the SLOPE and SCAN option. Scan, and the lower # is the flag.3. Sounds dumb to mention but if you do golf a lot the quick release storage bag the Bushnell and Callaway make it much easier to grab and go between shots. It's a holster that is held close by a bungee cord not Velcro like the LaserWorks X7.
