I can verify that the temperature reading and the moisture sensing work. This will be very useful when growing new grass in the spring.Coupled with the smart water valve, this should make it a piece of cake to keep grass moist.

The setup was pretty easy. It synced really fast to my iphone. When the probe is inserted the readout starts in a couple seconds and stabilizes between 5- 7 seconds. I started out testing it on my house plants- 30 of them. Each time I also used my needle pointer probe. WOW! The difference in information is amazing! If the needle probe pointed to 1, the rainpoint would read between 9% and 11%. Two hours after watering, the needle pointer read [10] wet on two different plants. the rainpoint read 72% on one and 87% on the other. So much better information! I love this product! Then outside on two rose plants, that I had watered the day before. One read 74% while the other read 46%. The information from the rainpoint is far better than my other probes. I give the rainpoint an A+

The hub that goes with it as written in the description doesn’t exist! Got a completely different reading than the other rainpoint moisture meter I was comparing it to. Both were useless. Great ideas. Terrible products.

As far as I can tell it only gives you the soil moisture and air temperature not soil temperature wish it would give you the soil temperature for planting.

I had been using an old fashioned soil moisture tester that only indicates moisture from wet to dry, the kind that a needle sways one way or the other representing how moist the soil is. It's really hard to actually gauge the actual soil dampness.However, this neat soil tester actually tells exactly what the moisture level is AND the temperature. This would be an incredible addition to anyone who has a greenhouse that needs monitoring. It is well built, and seems like it'll last a long time because of that. I definitely recommend this for helping keep your plants happy and healthy.

I previously had issues with over watering with my drip irrigation system. This device helps solve that problem and pairs nicely with the Rain point sprinkler timer I got last year. While I haven't been able to test outdoors yet, it was easy to set up in the app and the moisture read out was similar to the manual reader I have when I tested it on a houseplant. I would definitely recommend this product.

Just bought the RAINPOINT Bluetooth Soil Moisture Meter to accompany the RAINPOINT irrigation timer. The timer worked well last year and I am excited about adding the moisture meter to my outdoor garden. I tested the meter with my indoor plants and it is working very well, adjusts quickly when I water my plants and keeps me from over or under watering.

Interesting product. I have been using it on an indoor potted plant. If your plant is not on the list of available options, you can create a custom plant with soil humidity and temperature ranges. Readings seem accurate.I use this company's outdoor Bluetooth water timer that connects to my hose bib. I really like that product as a part of my outdoor potted plant irrigation system.Both products always are available through the app for me. I never have had connection issues. I also have the mini socket hub.
