Easy to use wax for cabbing stones.

As a new stoneworker, I accidentally bought the wrong kind of wax for Opal Dopping. They would fall off or be near impossible to get to stay on when setting up. 5 minutes after busting this open and melting it, I was ecstatic. I never thought I could be so excited about... wax.It works.The negative review looks like they're using metal? might be why it didn't stick.

There are no instructions. My first attempt at adhering a cab blank to a stick was not successful. I am sure it will work with some more experimentation, but some instructions would be nice

I've tried this wax many times wanting it to work but it just does not want to hold. I've roughed the bonding edge of the cab, heated the cab before bonding, ample wax applied, cleaned the can surface. Finally gave up and switched to glue gun. Glue gun actually works great, high confidence in use.

If you plan to use in a melting pot, it will be okay. If you plan to use in other methods that need full sticks, you might be disappointed.As for Cabashan holding power, the fragile nature may be an issue for some.The stuff is fragile and apparently not packed well enough to survive Amazon handling.Update: as expected, the hold is not great.
