These were so quick and easy to make. We used them for my cats one year home celebration and they were perfect. My cats can be picky with foods, so I wasn’t expecting either of them to like it. We decided to put treats on top as eyes and in hopes of luring the cats in. The celebratory girl didn’t want to try the cake, but her brother loved them.We had no issues with the microwave smell others are mentioning. I only came across one minor problem. I did have to cut the tops and edges because they came out uneven, but that was an easy fix. Also, it came with a candle, which we did not use and comes with a tray that can be reused!Overall, so cute and very affordable compared to other cakes. Made our little celebration feel complete. Even if both cats didn’t like it I’d still recommend for the aesthetic. They really make the occasion feel special and are the perfect centerpiece.

Do NOT buy this!! I bought it for my cat’s first birthday. It made him so so sick. He has never gotten sick or vomited before and he was vomiting like crazy after he ate it. Then he was so lethargic the rest of the evening. I’m still a bit worried about him this morning. I should have not given it to him. When I was making it, it smelt so bad. I had to air out my kitchen and open the windows after it came out of the microwave because the house reeked so bad. I just thought it was a stinky fish smell, but I should have known better that it was a bad food smell. DO NOT BUY THIS. Your cat could get as sick as mine. I might have to take him to the vet today. I have never written a review on Amazon before, but I had to write one for this product because I had to warn people not to buy this item for their cats. It could make them severely sick like mine.

Cute concept but smelled HORRID and my cat wouldn't touch it

The media could not be loaded. Easy to make just follow the instructions, you can’t go wrong. I added a tablespoon of her wet food in the mixture because it says you can add a tablespoon of shredded chicken. The icing is easy and I think that was my Misty girl’s favorite part of it. I added dye to make the purple and pink icing. She ate half and I put the rest in the fridge and give her a little bit everyday, she eats it. I like that the blue plastic thing I can use every year to make her treats for her. Easy to clean, just hand wash no dishwasher. The size of the fish are a good size for a cat, I’m sure one would fill any kitty up. Overall she loves it and I loved making it for her. 5 ⭐️’s from us.

The media could not be loaded. My cat turned 10 and we bought him this adorable cake to celebrate. We got the cheese flavored one because he is allergic to turkey, it looked adorable but was the most horrid thing i have ever smelled in my life. The house smelled like burnt cheese and tuna and not even candles could mask the scent. Taste wise, Chewie was not a fan. His sister Nova took a couple of nibbles and the dog liked it. Most of it went in the trash, but this cake was a perfect way to celebrate Chewie.

I think it's a great idea. I gave it 2 stars because it was easy to make but not 1 of my 4 cats really wanted to eat it. 1 ate a small amount but wasn't really Interested. Other cats may have a different response so I do recommend trying it out if you want to because it is a sweet idea.

It was SO cute! And my 3 picky kitties absolutely loved it! It was a little difficult to get the mix all the way down into the fishy tails, but they still turned out super cute. We added a tiny amount of red food coloring to the frosting to make pink cakes, and decorated them with a piece of tuna filet. Picture of birthday kitty and her cake below!

This item is absolutely garbage!!I baked it following the instructions and it left my microwave a mess of sticky and runny slime. I was absolutely bummed out because my cat was turning 1 year old today and I wanted to make it special (I wouldn’t even give a star but to post this review I had to put atleast a star)
