I love this tape
I love this tape maybe it's the brand because I have tried a few and this one is by far the best, it's not easy to remove though but the hold is great and that is important to me. You will just have to take more time and care to remove, but it is removable.

I Am Amazed! (Hemming Curtains)
First of all, I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to curtains. My last curtains were 20 years old … someone suggested that I replace the old curtains, (I have great friends, but they should have suggested that ten years ago!). The rooms were all getting painted and a change was absolutely needed.I had a very difficult time finding curtains that were the right width and length for bedroom windows. The vast majority of curtains are either 84" or 63" or something like that, and for some reason, the shorter curtains cost more in some instances. It didn't matter, because I wanted curtains shorter that 63".Having curtains made size to order was too expensive. I came to the conclusion that I was going to have to cut and then figure out how to hem the curtains for my windows. I am not experienced at hemming. They did not teach me that in Boy Scouts!I found the Double Sided Carpet Sticky Tape. I read reviews, and I found a video of someone using the tape to hem curtains. It appeared to be pretty easy. I thought, gee … even I could do that. One roll of the Double Sided Carpet Sticky Tape was enough for four sets of curtains or eight curtain panels. I purchased three sets of 84" length light filtering curtains. With a tape measurer and a pen, I marked the back of the curtains to the length I needed, added one inch, and cut the curtains.Working from the back of each curtain panel, I spread the panel out on a counter. I used a sponge (a rag will do) and lightly soaked the bottom 3 inches of the curtain material with water. Using the width of the Double Sided Carpet Sticky Tape as a guide, I folded the curtain material over the tape and created a "crease". Using an Iron set just below the cotton setting, I carefully spot pressed ironed the Double Sided Carpet Sticky Tape which was now sandwiched in between the folded curtain material. When the steam was gone, I moved on to the next spot. Press, steam and that's it. I just had to be careful to make sure the tape was fully covered (just barely) by the curtain material throughout the process. The curtains were ready to be put up immediately once the hemmed area was fully dry. The hemming work looks amazingly professional. The curtains are the length I wanted and the rooms look great. A friend was so amazed at the work that I was asked if I could make some blackout curtains for his room. I guess I have a new occupation!Double Sided Carpet Sticky Tape, easy to work with, the end result for me … a task that I thought was going to either be expensive or difficult (and beyond my skills) was made inexpensive and easy. What more could anyone want!

This one really works!!
FINALLY!! We have tried all kinds of tapes, and carpet adhesives, and finally found this wonderful tape. It works! Cannot attest to removing it, but if you haven’t found anything that would keep your carpet intact, this one will!! Trish

May Need to Reapply
I purchased this to hold down the corner of an area rug my puppy likes to pull up. It did the job for about a week, although he kept digging at it. But last night he managed to pull the corner up again, leaving the tape on the floor (he's a very determined little fellow!). Today I peeled up the old tape, an easy process, and was happy to find it left no residue on the floor. Then I reapplied new tape to the carpet. Hopefully this time will last a bit longer, but if not, I've still got the rest of the roll left!

Use a razor knife to cut.Put it only where you want it.We’re using it to hold carpeting on our basement steps. It works really well.I imagine it’ll be difficult to remove from the wooden basement stairs. Nothing a little sanding the future owners can’t handle. 😉

The Best!
This stuff works amazingly well. We have a high traffic area in our home where we needed an area rug put down on top of carpet. My husband was adamant that the curled up edges be fixed so that no one would trip. I used this tape on the back of the rug and adhered the rug to the carpet four months ago and it has not budged once. I could not be more impressed.

Finally!!
We've tried many different products and was about to give up. Then this!! This carpet tape is the real deal. It held our living room "winter rug" in place for several months, through holiday traffic and frequent vacuuming. Removal was easy and left no trace on our hardwood floors. Only taped the four corners, so a little tape went a long way. Plenty left over for other rugs in other rooms, but holding that heavy winter rug impressed me most. Would definitely recommend and buy again.
