You have to get it fully under the water for best results.
It works great but I first tried it in a little bowl and water was spouting all over the place so I figured out I will get a bigger bowl and a lid and pop holes in it to work stronger

Worthless item.
This thing sucks, it doesn't put out much. Buy a bigger one. It is what it says it is but it doesn't work worth a damn. I wouldn't waste my money on it if you actually want to get some fog buy a bigger version.

For the money you pay for them its worth it
I used them for a few aeroponics systems l built. They are cheap enough to start your system up. But they are not going to last. Even though I have them on timers for 30mins on 30 mins off. I've had a couple of them failed on me, but they are cheap enough to just throw them away. They still last longer than buying something from harbor freight. I even started phasing them out by replacing the mist makers with small aquarium pumps hooked up to small sprinklers. For the money you pay for them it's worth it

Doesn't work under more than an inch or so of water
I wanted to use this for my fogponic setup but it wasn't up for the task.

Bad product
It was not what was described it provides mist fog for exactly a minute and will just stop working and gets extremely hot to fast not happy no use for this 😡 not worth it at all

Stoped working after 2 months.
It only worked for 2 months so if you just need it for a short time it works well for that.
