If you have a standup gas scooter with the 25cc motor, this is the best way to get it to run good after it has been sitting for a long time Don't waste your time in trying to clean the old one.

Works great
Used this 3 wire regulator in place of a 5 wire on a john Deere mower. It works great!

Didn't keep engine running.
My Zooma Scooter 33cc engine ran better with the old carburetor, it got to about 85% throttle and started dropping power, which is why I decided to buy a new carburetor. This new one starts it, and idles it fine, but anything above 15% throttle chokes out and dies. I switched around the carburetor's top and bottom ends, in different configurations trying to get it to run properly. Upon inspecting the interior port holes, they're seemingly different from my OEM carburetor, as well as the jet screws. The OEM carb jet screw is adjustable and removable, but this one isn't, it's riveted permanently in place. Everything else seems a perfect match. Maybe there is something else I need to be doing?I will definitely add stars to the review if someone is able to help!
