Thomas & Friends (Thomas & Friends) (Baby Fingers) Board book – November 28, 2000

Both my 2 year old grandson and my 4 year old granddaughter love these books. My granddaughter has a favorite that I must read every time she comes over (several times a week). My grandson loves the stories and knows the engines well.

The stories were written pretty terribly, but the thing itself arrived in perfect condition.

My son 3.5 y old loves all 5 books and it was a great price. Have 5 stories similar like in the movie, Hero of the Rails, Misty Island Rescue, Day of Diesels, The Great Discovery, and Blue Mountain Mistery. Yes the stories were made shorter and can sound a little ridiculuous but kids won't mind. The size of this books make it easy to carry it in your bag or kids' backpack for to go reading. I ended up buying more little golden books title of Thomas and Friends after this purchase.

Given as a b-day gift along with the train.He was all smiles when he opened his presents.

Very disappointing when your child knows it's their book and a page is ripped up. It's a board book.

My three-year-old really likes Thomas. I was excited to get these golden bucks. My hangup is that the stories do have some sinister aspects which I don’t think my three year old is quite ready for. I don’t even know if I was quite ready for them.For example, one book tells the story of a train who is in hiding because he thought he had accidentally knocked another train into the sea. Everything works out and the train in hiding is vindicated but I don’t think this is material for 3 to 5 year olds.

If you've seen the movies that go with these realize that they don't match the movies word for word. Meaning, they skip a lot because you only have about 12 pages of reading which is great when you are trying to get your kid into bed and go to sleep. Sometimes we sneak in 2 books because they go kinda fast. Lots of good pictures and nice slipcase to hold all of them. Highly recommended if you kid likes thomas!

Quality!

This is the book of the recently released Legend of the Lost Treasure film. Me and my 2 sons really enjoyed the film, so got this book as soon as it came out.The book is excellent - nice and colourful, lots of big pictures, and a reasonable, but not excessive amount of text under the pictures. Would serve quite well as a book for a young reader, as well as a story book to be read by an adult to children.The story is good (though you maybe have to suspend your disbelief at the sailing boat with wheels added!) - the book follows the film pretty closely, though some of it is a bit abridged. It was a good length to read to the kids - 5/10 minutes, depending on interruptions!In summary, highly recommended.

I think this book is awesome. Thomas hopes there is buried treasure on the Island of Sodor. And he is going to find out!

A lovely clear and bright book
