Media & Culture: An Introduction to Mass Communication

i rented this book thinking it would come with an access code in order to have access to my class's site where we are graded. i do not have the code and therefore this book is completely useless to me

The digital copy is a nightmare to navigate. I do not recommend the digital version. Do yourself a huge favor and just buy or rent the physical copy. Using the digital copy, forget flipping back a page or two to review something read previously. You'll be swiping forever to find whatever you were looking for, and forget using the search feature to speed this process up. You may search for a term but when you do it doesn't show you what chapter that term is in. My professors jumps around this book from chapter to chapter. You can't just search for the chapter or a specific term and go there, it won't let you. This digital copy has caused so many headaches and requires more of my time to complete assigned reading that wouldn't take as long with an actual book. I do not typically review items, but this was a huge disappointment.

I like that my children an rent books for school instead of me having to purchase them would recommend.

An excellent text book for journalists. I highly recommend this textbook for students who are just beginning journalism. An good source of information
