I was home alone a few weeks back and almost choked. Attempting to do the heimlich on yourself using the back of a kitchen chair is extremely painful not to mention terrifying. I truly wish I had had one of these devices before that it happened. But I definitely have this one now and I liked how it worked so well in the video and in the testing once I received it that I purchased a second one for my husband as well as he drives truck. It seems to be of high quality materials. The test of the item that they showed you how to do in the video at home shows it works as it should. It has about as much suction as what you would expect from a sharp deep breath. I think this is an item that will be long-lasting item. I love the fact that it is reusable. I like the fact that it came with three separate nose pieces for different sized faces and I hope and pray that it's something I never have to use. But I'm very happy that I have it in my home now. It comes with the bracket to hang it up and it fit perfectly in my kitchen pantry so that it's easily accessible to anybody at any time in my home. I have also suggested it to everyone I know. People have fire extinguishers in their homes as part of their everyday safety kits I truly believe this should be another thing that's in everybody's home and car.

As a disabled senior woman living alone and survivor of several potentially life threatening choking incidents I immediately started researching for the best unit when I realized there were anti choking devices available.I feel this is the best product for someone who is alone and choking.This unit itself is very sturdy and appears well made. It looks like something you would see at a hospital. It comes with three different size masks which are auto inflated to fit firmly.I tested the unit on myself several times, and though I hope I never have another choking episode, I feel better having this here in case I do.It has good, consistent, reliable suction power that should work fine to dislodge the blockage.I believe the single push button of this product is superior to the competition’s design, and I insisted on the one way draw as I don’t want to potentially push the blockage down into my lungs by accident.Hanging tips:PHOTO #1Hang the device somewhere that is easily accessible, and at the ideal reach height for the user. Seconds literally count when you are alone and choking.PHOTO #2I want to be able to reach it and put the mask over my face as quickly as possible, which is why I have it on the hanger upside down, with a rubber band securing it in. (Hoping the manufacturer will adjust the hanger for future models, as this is much more effective setup).PHOTO #3I have the unit lined up with my correct size mask directly facing me so I can grab it,and immediately put it on.First thing to remember when alone and choking is don’t panic. If you have this unit close by, help is only a few feet away.Highly recommend….

It came earlier than was predicted. The quality is fine. They need to tell you there is an orange ring preventing the extension that’s needed for it to operate. In order to use it you need to remove the ring. I didn’t realize that the ring was not part of the body. They need to tell you to remove it in order to operate it.

I hope I never have to use this, but it is nice to have if I do. Seems easy to work. different size masks comes with it.

Better save then sorry , I wanted this because I live alone so I feel comfortablejust having this in the house. Hope I neve have to use it.

Got what I ordered

The item came fine, sealed and everything and it looks legit but then I noticed the mask looks a little deflated so I went to the sales posting to check if there’s some instructions. However, when I look back at other people’s post, the bags holding their masks has instructions!! Mine came in clear plastic bags…..this then makes me question whether I got the real one. It’s a brand I don’t really know so I wouldn’t know what is real or fake. But I don’t want to find out when there’s a situation where I need to use this and it’s actually not working… it’s one of those life threatening moments that I would rather spend more for one that works than one that maybe work. 3 star bc I never used it, just don’t want to risk it.
