A nice sword, reasonably balanced. Only a faint hint of a hamon near the tip. Highly polished with no grain in the steel. Good machine ground edge, needs a final honing. The tip has a less polished finish, marring it's looks just a bit.Nice scabbard, well done leather work. The fittings for the carry strap resemble those of a Tachi. Leather seems good quality. Metal fittings are cast metal, bronzed and "antiqued" with black to appear aged.I am very satisfied with this sword. Bears a very close resemblence to Michone's deadly sword.

Look what I got! And I am so happy at the quality of this piece! For the $152 (tax included) I didn't expect this! I did expect something decent but here it makes me wonder if they sent the wrong one LOL I had read the reviews and all were very favorable and had looked at the pictures customer had included but once in the hand!! Wow the scabbard is wood covered in leather, reminds me of a steering wheel in a expensive top of the line vehicle, there are no flaws that I could see, the stitching is great, the sword itself is free of blemishes, the blade is straight as can be, it is carbon steel, I had read that blade was sharp and mine is quite sharp, should do great at cutting water bottles or straw mats! The markings are sharp and well done, the sword balances about 4" from the guard, I am so glad I waited for a carbon steel reproduction, as far as I can tell it is about 90-95% as Michone's sword on the show and this one can actually do severe damage on "Walkers" should one comes on my property! Hers is only good for CGI Walkers LOL

Absolutely beautiful Sword, I was surprised at how well made the blade was, when I opened the box it was packed with support in 3 boxes with lifters to keep it from rattling around the box. I would’ve given 5 stars and I’m sure in time it will loosen up but the scabbard is extremely hard to remove, of course that shows a well fitting scabbard but I’m sure someone on here will hold the sword in such a way when trying to remove it they slice their hand removing it. All I can say is it’s a beautiful sword, razor sharp and the scabbard is stunning encased in leather. Great for the price! Please be careful when removing the scabbard.

The pics show 2 mekugi but I have been unable to find a second one in the hilt. Description says full tang but without that second pin I'm hard pressed to believe it. I haven't tried taking the sword apart all the way since it is constructed tightly though. I wish the seller would show the sword apart in the pics so buyers can see the tang before purchasing, or at least a sample of it.

I was very satisfied customer with my purchase! Has a few nicks on handle guard like I was given a display piece For the price I didn’t expect perfection! but the quality and appearance of sword is well worth the price sword is sharp n will make a great weapon for the zombie apocalypse! Minus half star for the blemishes but can’t cut the star with sword so rounded up otherwise can’t go wrong with this one

This looks pretty dang close to the sword on the show. So close that I can't tell the difference. So if you are looking for cosplay or a wall decoration. If you are a real Samuri you might want one made in Japan to stay true.

Here...Zombie..Zombie.....very cool sword...I would recommend it highly
