I’ve referred this book multiple times! It’s great to start!
When I was interested in starting on keto, I ordered a bunch of books. Five of the seven ordered were useless and cheap (and the recipes DEFINITELY were not keto-friendly) but THIS BOOK was AWESOME and I’ve referred people to it multiple times since.Not only is it informative, but literally holds your hand through your initial three weeks on the program. I found the format (menu plans, tips, tracking) incredibly helpful and supportive. But more importantly, the recipes were delicious ... and easy to follow and make. While I’ve modified my diet slightly since (after losing 35 pounds in threemonths), there are many recipes I still keep in the rotation since they’re so easy, filling and tasty. I also love how you can make a lot of these recipes and freeze them so you have meals ready to go on those days when you just don’t want to cook.Overall, if you want to start keto, this is a great first step that really help you through the first few weeks - with tasty food!

A great kick start diet book
I have been following the challenge now for 1 week today. It is very well written and the recipes are very clear to follow. My husband is coming around to taking on the challenge too. I love that I feel full all day. It is important to get rid of any non-keto friendly foods in your cupboards too. I find I can have a good breakfast, coffee with HEAVY CREAM...(delicious), for lunch, and then one of the entree recipes for dinner and be totally satisfied. I totally plan on staying with this for a long time! Lost 2 pounds the first week. I'm a 64 year old female excited to find something that is delicious, simpe and works.

Tasty recipes, easy to follow
I've been very surprised how good some of these recipes are. I was a little worried that they would fall short in the taste department like so many paleo recipes/foods I've tried. I could never stick to the paleo for that reason--everything has no flavor! I've been in the low-carb world for 18 years now and recently decided to switch to Keto to try to break through a weight loss plateau. I can't say I've seen a lot of weight loss yet during the 21 day plan but it could be because I only need to lose 10-12 pounds. Unfortunately I think I fall into the category of metabolic resistance and my thyroid is most likely to blame. So I'm not giving up on this plan yet! Especially since I've really enjoyed everything I've made with these recipes. The weekly prep has helped me tremendously with feeling like I'm ready and eating well every single day. This is by far the most healthy eating I've managed to maintain in months. My only complaint is sometimes I get a little confused on portion management since the recipes only provide a total number of servings. I have trouble trying to figure out how much for each portion since there are no measurements like--"use 1/4 cup of completed recipe per serving." I try to eyeball it, but I don't feel confident that I'm splitting up the servings properly. Overall I'm very happy with this book. I've made 17 different recipes so far and I have enjoyed them all.

START HERE! Best Keto book there is!
We started with two other Keto books, and we were successful in losing weight. However, I went to the doctor and learned that I had borderline malnutrition and anemia.SO, I went back to the drawing board and researched other books and came across this one. HOLY COW this one is so much better! Written by a licensed nutritionist and fitness expert, recipes developed by a chef!The book has clear explanations of what you need to know to get started and motivated. Each week had a comprehensive grocery shopping list, menu for each meal, and recipes with alternatives for eating preferences.The food is GOOD! There are tips for food preparation for the week which are great for people with busy lives! Cooking times are minimal.I wish I had bought this book first.

Disappointed in Dough Recipes, Exercise suggestions
The book has some positive points, especially for a younger person who has little knowledge of exercise or meal planning. However, exercises like jumping jacks, push-ups and burpees and most others in this book are not appropriate for older or less fit individuals. I was disappointed in the selection, but I accepted it. There are three different recipes for Keto Dough. None of them indicates how the dough is to be cooked or for how long or the temperature. This is especially confusing since the dough is made of cheese, almond or coconut flour, and egg. It is unlike any traditional dough I have ever seen. So I have no guess how to bake it, or even if it is supposed to be baked. Other recipes appear to be workable, but I was very disappointed in the dough. I like that the recipes have nutritional information and appear to be friendly to the keto way of eating.

Wanna lose weight? Buy this book!!!
I have done diet of hope, purchased veg n keto n paleo books both paper n kindle. What a struggle. I have been poring over this latest paper book that I ordered after looking at it on Amazon. I am excited. This book is a roadmap that can take me from obese to healthy. It puts ALL the bits and pieces together in a workbook like format that took me from front to back covers. I ordered what I didn’t have in my pantry from Amazon, followed my first week of recipes to check for carb count, and weighed myself! Ready to go. I have hope! Thanks to the authors ...thank you!This is the life plan for healthy eating that I have looked for over the years of yo yo dieting!

Sensible keto diet and nutrition book
I’ve only followed the 21 day challenge for one week but I plan to go the entire 21 days.This book is laid out well with weekly shopping lists, easy ingredients to buy, and yummy recipes.Rachel describes how the keto nutrition works and she does this in plain English with well-founded research.I will update this review when I complete the 21 day challenge.I highly suggest following Rachel on Instagram and staying informed with the help of her website as well. She is knowledgeable and thorough and very helpful with all the current information she provides.I highly recommend this book.

Great recipes, easy to use and track Macros. I gained a whole new understanding with this book and found it much easier to meal prep

Well worth it
Great book with loads of good recipes and pictures.I can’t attest to having lost weight on this as I haven’t used it in that way but well worth adding to your collection
