Second pair that has ripped in the same spot.
I liked these shorts, as far as design and function, but the quality is terrible. The first pair I ordered came ripped in the seam on the butt to the left of the zipper. I really liked the shorts and hoped it was just a fluke, so I returned it and ordered another one. This one has the same problem.

Really nice shorts. Went with the chart's suggested size
Really nice shorts. Went with the chart's suggested size. Watched tracking all the way from China to the US, so don't expect these in a few days if you are not in China, but I think it was worth the wait. Not so good padded insert. The insert material is loose and not form fitting. My squirrel lost his nuts out of the leg like boxer shorts a couple times on the ride and the pad kept sliding over.

Not good shorts for mountain biking
My first review was rejected? Not specific to product? Crazytown. I see all the 5 star reviews that are obviously fake with something like, 'Really great shorts. Love them.' Whatever. To be clear: The fabric is cheap and will not withstand a crash/fall. The gusset is made of the see through stretchy stuff that will obviously snag. The zippers are the worst I have ever seen on shorts. Plastic type that will separate easily (even though the shorts come with a YKK tag...not YKK by a long stretch). The fit is okay I guess. But the velco sizing straps are cheesy and seem totally unnecessary. I would normally just keep these as junky shorts for yard work since they are cheap. But these are so bad that I am sending them back.

Stylish, Durable and Comfortable
An excellent all round sporting shorts for hiking, biking, golf and everyday wear. Lightweight, comfortable, easy to wash, very little wrinkling so good for packing. Pay attention to sizing. I’m a 34/35” waist and the X Large size works fine. Wish it came in more colors than army green and black. Good price and value.

Fits well but poor stitching & design issues
First off - the flaws overrule the few decent things about this product. Don't buy - just spend a bit more on actual MTB brand gear & you won't have BS issues like this Chinese junk. That said the fit was nice and the material feels good, and the overall look is good.I've not had the numerous fails others have, but after the 2nd wash, one of the rear seams started splitting and I had to sew it back up.The other major flaw I've had is that besides the right-sided velcro reeiving strip just tore off - so now there's no way to even tighten the shorts up except for wearing a belt. (Really - who the hell wears a belt mtn biking?). But weirder is the receiving velcro-strips on the waist (both sides) are too short to actually accept the tighterning (top / outer) velcrostrap - that is, they should be a about 1-2 inches longer. Currently, the will only allow you to tighten each side of the shorts about 1 inch. Total waste of material...makes you wonder who designs stuff this badly. Worse - each top (outer) velcro, which has a hardened surface) also entirely unnecessary) - sticks out to the side, because you cannot strap it down to the other velcro all the way - and looks entirely dumb. That is - makes your shirt-base stick out to the sides. Its bizarre.Anyway - I saw other reviews about cheap glued seams and stitched seams pulling apart and I expect that'll be next.Lesson here: things that are cheap are usually junk and your money is better spent on good gear w/ companies that support it instead of Chinese BS manufacturers slinging junk while polluting the F out of their cities. Its ultimately just a waste.

Coming apart at the seam
This had been a good bike commute pair of shorts, but after less than 10 wash/wear cycles, it's coming apart at the seam (see photo where hole is present. Based on the stitching, this will unravel very quickly). No signs of wear elsewhere.Front pockets are also too small for phone.

Perfect shorts for the casual MTB rider
Bought a pair to try them out. Have another big name brand pair and just wanted to get another pair without spending $60. Got these in and they felt pretty good just trying them on. First ride and these were great. VERY lightweight! Plenty of pockets for all the necessities like keys and such. Zippers seem to be very durable. The only concern I have the velcro adjustments strips. But since I don't ride every day I think they will probably be fine. Liked them so much I just bought a second pair. Really pretty good kit for a reasonable price.

Definitely a great find!
I never write reviews, however, I really do count on them when making decisions on what to buy. Typically, I assume that very positive reviews should be ignored since most people only write reviews when they are upset/disappointed with their purchase. This is not either of those. These MTB shorts are awesome! They fit great (I'm 6'3", 270lbs) and they are exceptional when it comes to feel and stretch. The best part is the depth of the pockets and that they have strong zippers on them so that you don't have to worry about losing your keys or phone (I have an XL Google pixel 2 which easily in the side pockets) while on the trail. For the price, these are awesome. I never thought something as simple as having the right shorts for the ride would make the day so much better. These are great!!
