one sharp saw
Great saw. Use for everything. But does not last long...will get dull and new blades almost price of new saw. That said, I prune very hard wood trees with these saws...probably my mistake. Should save for smaller wood projects but they make pruning a breeze.

Quality saw!
Incredibly sharp and durable. Great for pruning trees or cutting lumber. I used one last summer to cut down a 25' pine tree. Cut the entire tree, trunk and limbs, down to firewood, and the saw was as sharp as ever. Misplaced the saw and -had- to get another Vaughan.

Thought it had an adjustment for positioning. It doesn't. Works good though.

I've cut down a dozen trees with this saw up to around 4" trunk diameter. Makes quick work of cedar and with a bit more effort will take down or trim that small maple that's in your way. A good safer option in place of a chainsaw if your jobs are small. Cuts on the forward and back strok.
