Red Moon Paperback – June 1, 2009

Book came with water damage but seller sent a replacement with no problem. This book is so beautiful and amazing! I love the way it's written. The beginning kinda tells a story, then the rest is more nonfictional. I don't normally like story telling/ fiction books however It's only about a chapter and It's so beautifully worded I fell in love with it. The story telling part doesn't seem fictional its more like sitting around a campfire with your grandmothers and them telling you a story in a way you can understand. The book goes into the "dark goddess", has beautiful images, goes into each phase of a women's cycle, shows you how to make a Moon dial, chatting your cycle to decode the patterns, and so much more. I recommend this book to every women, teenager, and young girl. It's important to know about our cycles and its connection with the moon and her cycles. This is a great book to gift any female. Absolutely love it and will enjoy reading it over and over! Miranda Gray did an amazing job with this one!

I'm so glad I stumbled on this book in my search about our cycles and what is the norm, having our menses with the full moon or the new moon? Turns out this book covers it. I ordered it intrigued and convinced from the reviews I read and I'm so glad I did. I started reading it last night and it's so rich and beautiful, I felt my body resonate with all it's wisdom... a relief, a knowing, some things I already intuited about the cycles of my body but it was lovely to read validation and confirmation of this here. I agree, every young woman coming of age should read this, I wish I would have had access to something like this back then. I find it very valuable now too, sacred and makes me look at my cycles and honor my energy in a deeper way now. So excited to share with all my friends. Thank you to Miranda for putting this together!

I’ve always been very intrigued by the spiritual gifts of the menstral cycle. I purchased this book and was bummed it was going to take forever to arrive since it was coming from the UK and I am in the US, but it arrived earlier than expected. I started reading it yesterday and could not put it down. I’d have been finished already it if weren’t for having to do other things. Plan on finishing it this weekend. My cousin wants to borrow it after me and one of my girlfriends. DEF recommend!!!! I love Miranda’s writing style so much.

I only gave it 4 as theres a lot of text and was a bit hard to want to get going with it. BUT once I delved in, I found a treasure trove of wisdom that helps to guide my monthly ebb and flow. clairebhavani.com

This book is absolutely wonderful and filled with wonderful women's wisdom. I truly believe that every young girl that starts her period should be gifted this book. The same goes for all the women that have lost their connection to their most sacred part and identity - their moon cycle.Miranda Gray beautifully commences the book with story telling - weaving women's wisdom and powerful totems / symbols through the tale and therefore subconsciously opening you to receive the explanation of the symbols.The book has become one of my top 10 most favorite and inspirational books and I can highly recommend it.

An immediate keeper in our collection

I just got this in the mail, and I have only skimmed through the book (was looking at the gorgeous art pieces!!) and read her preface, but I am so eager to dig into the book! It is a beautiful book, perfect size, and I really like Miranda Gray's voice! I will definitely be recommending/lending this book,saving it for my future daughter(s)<3, and looking up more of her books to order!

Very interesting theory

This book presents wonderful concepts in a wispy and ungrounded way. It's a shame, but the words just did not catch me at all. Needs a bit more realness and authenticity
