Same product as what our pediatric dentist uses.
My hygienist said that one packet is an adult dose, so use half for a child. After you get your teeth cleaned (using the scraping technique) you teeth are weakened. Adding this varnish helps them remineralize quickly. The dentist said it usually takes one week for your teeth to recuperate/remineralize after a cleaning but that this varnish helps the process speed up. Our insurance wanted $50 for each fluoride treatment--these packs are worth the money saved! We asked the dentist what was on the package of the fluoride varnish they use and these had the same percentage of main ingredients...only wish it wasn't bubblegum flavored.

Came leaking out of package, but good buy
Ordered these after dentist wanted to charge me $38/application. Good price, easy to use, includes brush. But most of them came leaking out of the package into the brush compartment, or out of the package. A couple seem coagulated, maybe outdated?

Helps tooth pain
My dentist gave me some these to help where my gums are receding, and my teeth are sensitive It works really good, so I check Amazon for it and was pleased to find they had them.

Gross taste but worth it - especially for college kids & uninsured.
I’ve been using this on my teeth once a month and it’s decreased sensitivity so much. Cant see the dentist until I visit home, so this is an option for me until I can get my cleaning as my teeth are quite cavity prone. also good if you consume soda. it’s a gross flavor and was worried as the product stung a teeny bit as i applied it, but trust the process. also good value as dentists do this one a year but you can do it multiple times a year for like $4 an application from the comfort of your own home! will still visit dentist obviously but this is a really good supplemental treatment! i give it 4 stars, 1 star off bc if the taste and pckaging doesnt really come with instructions

Your teeth have to be dry. Before you start buy cotton rolls
Okay, now I only used this once and I had a hard time getting it on my teeth. Im not saying its bad. YOUR TEETH NEED TO BE COMPLETELY DRY! That being say. Order some rolls of cotton to get your mouth ready, because it won't stick to your teeth and it get really think ready fast so its hard to spread. I did get it in a tooth and it dried enough to stick. That tooth was really sensitive. Now its not sensitive at all and the varnish sealed the hole. Im going to do it again as soon as I get the cotton. I will write another review after my next attempt. Its also helpful if you get the plastic thing that keeps your mouth open. It doesn't cost much on Amazon and they give you like 5. Whatever it takes to make this stuff work. From what the reviews said, this is way cheaper then having a dentist do it. Dentists way over charge for absolutely every! It should be against the for them to jack up the pieces the way they do! Cavities can be healed if you can stop the decay! I have seen it done. Look it up on YouTube!

Difficult to evaluate
My wife applied this for me. It seemed she went too heavy and got too much on the gums in spite of instructions to the contrary. I left it on overnight (probably too long) due to time required for no eating or drinking. It is difficult to evaluate its effectiveness due to it being the kind of product that would help more with repeated use. But it left my gums sore and sensitive for a week or two. I really got it for my wife to use on a specific problem she has with one tooth at the gum line next door to a gum skin graft. But, especially since she also has several uncommon medical conditions that could effect the outcome, she is afraid to use it because of fear it may cause a huge and expensive problem. So it was probably a waste in my case. Probably not the product's fault imho.

Spilled/Opened
I wanted to wait a few days before writing this, but given that 4 of the packages have all either popped and leaked everywhere, or dried up from improper sealing has made it hard to even use the product, what is left is half of what should be there. In most cases so far, the substance has leaked into where the brush is. Not very happy or impressed so far. I will however note that with what I was able to use, my teeth do not feel as sensitive. 2/5 stars
