Best Paper Greetings Photo Frame Cards - 4 x 6 In, White, 48 Pack, Modern - Paper Picture Frames - Photo Holders for Pictures

I really love these so far. I love writing real old fashioned letters and love taking scenic photos and this helps me make a very economical greeting card or thank you card of my own! Awesome price too! Already used up two boxes since Christmas!

These were my issues.The website said “48 Pack Photo Frame Cards with Envelopes, Notecards for 4x6 Picture Insert for Weddings, Graduations, Birthday Parties, Anniversary, Milestones (White)". The card stock (frames) are cream colored not white. The website also said "Unwrap our bulk pack containing 48 photo frame cards and 48 matching white envelopes" – they (still) don't match. I had a terrible time trying to get the pictures inserted. They kept getting off kilter, and wouldn’t straighten out to slide in, tearing the frame away from the back. The cards were also slightly curved.So having justified everyone else's negative comments, I made my husband do one. He had minimal trouble. I said, "Do another." He had NO trouble. I said "Do another." He had ABSOLUTELY NO trouble. His secret was big hands. He bent back the fold of the card slightly so it would lay flatter, got the picture started by inserting slightly until even, turned the card over, held the bottom edge tightly with his thumbs and used his (clean) fingers on the picture to carefully slide it into place. I copied what he did and had none of the problems others commented on. Currently I have my flat rocks sitting on a done stack of 20 hoping for a little less curve. If the card stock had matched the envelopes, either all cream or all white, it could have been a 5 rating.

I made cards with my own watercolor paintings inserted in the cards. The pocket was easy to access without bending the card out of shape.

I really enjoy making cards out of my photographs and sending them to friends using these cards as frames for them. These work well for the most part but often the sides of the card are too tight to slide the photo in, and shoving it in tears the paper. I wish they were not so tight and did not tear easily. I would say about 1/3 are like that.

Added a photo and decorated outside of the cardboard frame and gave as presents to friends. They loved it!

I have ordered these for years. The ones I received are much smaller than previously. The card holder is 4x6 with a window of 3x5". The holder is supposed to be for a 4x6 picture. Previously the holder was 4.5x6.78,the window was 3.5x5.5 approx. I use them for greeting cards to hold watercolor paintings. These cut off too much of the painting. I will not buy this brand again. I gave them 2 stars because they are well made and if you have smaller pictures they would wok fine. Not for me.

I used thousands of these for years but recently they made them much smaller and I didn't notice right away because I keep a huge backstock of them and now I went to use them and they are incompatible with my current inventory. I'm out of the return window now and stuck with these.
