Great bag to keep your important gear dry (Cameras, sandwiches, change of clothes, etc...). I took this out on a rental kayak in the Buffalo river and even though the back hatch seal was not that great, my DSLR and other equipment stayed dry and fit perfectly inside the hatch. When opening the hatch there was water sloshing around from some rapids going over the hull making the bag all wet on the outside but still dry inside. This allowed me to take my DSLR camera with me in order to capture memories to reflect on in the future. I also hiked a little in this bag as there was a waterfall off of the river a little ways I had to get to. Straps are wide and comfortable. Do make sure the back part has something flat or soft and not pointy digging into the spot that will be resting against your back and you will be comfortable. Much better than a thin strap going over your shoulder or leaving your equipment behind. The dual straps allow for your hands to be free for help supporting yourself on strenuous hikes. This bag went on a cycling tour with me (well, it got transported from overnight locations every day). We didn't have downpours, but there was heavy dew in the mornings and our bags sat patiently on the ground for quite some time before the teams could load them into the trucks. I hadn't had the chance to test it prior, so I did pack my sleep sack and pillow in a plastic bag inside of it, but there was never a trace of condensation or taking on water. Very happy with the performance and durability, especially since this bag became its own piece of cargo luggage on the flight back home. Straps and closures remained in tact and there were no noticeable scuffs or scrapes from the baggage handlers.

Pretty nice. I use it for going jet skiing. If you do a poor job of rolling it..your stuff may get wet.. Uf you roll it like its supposed to be done..your stuff will stay dry. Whoever gives this bag a negative review messed up..while sealing it.. It's thick ...comfortable to wear . and a good bacmg for the lake

I purchased this for my summer sailing job and it was perfect while it lasted! It kept my items safe from harm and allowed me to keep my kids' inhalers, medicines, and epipens close at hand.However, one of the pads connecting a backpack strap to the bottom of the bag detached from the bag 3/4 of the way through the summer through normal wear and tear and I couldn't use it for my bike through traffic to/from work. I have attempted to contact the seller through Amazon and send them emails but nothing is getting through and all forms of communication seem faulty.It was great when it worked, but I wish I could get it repaired and back up to full condition.

Purchased for a Caribbean cruise that involve a lot of beach and water excursions. I have also used it to go to the beach hear in NJ and assorted fishing trips as well. It is well made and has held up well over the past couple of years of use. It is rather roomy inside for what we needed it for. It can hold 2 folded up beach towels, sun screen, cameras, a few bottles of water, etc. It is lightweight and is comfortable to carry.

Really like the backpack. Have used it in heavy snow several times and had no issues. I like that it is compact and easy to travel with when not in use.

This is a great waterproof backpack!! I took this pack out on the lake to keep my food a gear dry and not a single drop of water leaked in. On top of that, if you leave a little air inside before sealing the bag, the pack also serves a floatation device!

This bag is very comfortable. Plenty of space. The straps are not connected to the buckle on top to go in and out of the bag like some other versions. Definitely worth the money
