Disappointing Purchase
I received the product in a well packed shipping box with no physical damage to the shipping box itself. Upon opening the box and pulling out the product, I immediately noticed that 2 of the sill protectors were already missing their blue transparent protective film, and that the 2 with the missing film were in plastic bags that were already open. The 2 with the blue transparent protective film intact were in sealed plastic bags. This made me believe that what I received was someones returned merchandise. I then noticed that the long protector that was still in a sealed plastic bag was bent slightly in the middle along its edge (see photo), and the black rubber gasket where the bend was had disconnected from the edge. Upon further inspection of the 2 unsealed edge protectors, I noticed that the metal in the center appeared to be rippled instead of mirror smooth like it was on the ends of the sill protector. To me it looks like someone attempted to stick this sill protector on their car but then removed it causing the material to bend slightly resulting in the ripple effect on the surface. Lastly, the rubber gasket material on one of the previously opened sill protectors was split on both ends (see photo).I had first considered installing these sill protectors anyway since there main purpose is to protect the painted sill around the doors, and aren't seen 99% of the time, but I decided against it after trying to remove the bend in the one sill protector. It just wouldn't come out easily, and I didn't want to cause more damage trying to remove the bend. I also didn't care too much for the black rubber gasket around the outside edge of the sill protectors. It didn't state in the description that it included a gasket around the edge, and from the pictures I assumed incorrectly that it was a black painted edge. I could see scuffing your shoe along the edge of the sill protector, and easily ripping part or all of the black gasket off. It looked to me the gasket might had been held on with some sort of glue, but seeing were the bend occurred in the one sill protector, I saw how easily the gasket came off of the edge.

Spruce up car for very little money
Great product for the price went on easy there is extra adhesive if they come off , so far they have not budged look great covers up scratches in the door sill paint.
