 Love this it makes me so happy bubbling away in the fountain on our patio . The birds love it too.

I had a different brand but similar concept of floating solar fountain - it was a 1.4W model, which seems to be more common. Unfortunately, that other brand developed some sort of white film within the plastic coating - not something that could be wiped off, and it started to cover the solar cells and reduce its effectiveness. Also, the replacement that the vendor sent me died after a couple of months.So I'm trying this new one with a 2W motor, which I'm hoping will be more robust. And it's been working fine so far - just a few days. It's very powerful - too much for my bowl, actually, so I don't have any spray nozzle attached. I just have the tube attached so that the water bubbles quite well to keep the water circulating. It's also much more sensitive than the last one, and was bubbling well before the sun was high in the sky, unlike the other brand.I'm just hoping that it doesn't develop the same annoying white stuff in the plastic like the other brand, which I guess is some sort of chemical reaction with the electrodes, but I don't know.

I really like not having electrical cords to deal with. In the past, raccoons have pulled my fountain out by the cord, leaving it on the lawn, and burning out the motor. This eliminates that problem! It works well, turning itself off when the sun is not up, or shining, then I don’t have to worry about it. Works beautifully.

I was under the impression the battery backup, once charged would provide power for a time after the the unit wasn't in direct sunlight. It had charged for approximately 6 hours in the direct sun. The pump stopped working immediately after the shade hit the unit. I would not recommend this product, especially for it being the most expensive. I very rarely take the time to write reviews. Either it works or it doesn't, this product did not.

I am pleased on the performance and quickness of shipment. It worked right from the start and I love watching it. Hoping the birds will love it as much! The only thing I'm disappointed about is the section cups will not stick to the bottom of the fountain. not disappointed enough to rate it other than 5 stars.

Set it in the sun for two hours before use, it worked for about ten minutes and never worked again.

This was a very cheaply made gimmick device. It is very small. A slight wind will blow it out of the water. Did not even last 24 hours. I didn't return it because I just didn't want to deal with it. Any small leaf or dead insect will clog it up. It never even made a spray one time. It just gurgled sporadically. I would give it zero stars if I could. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Wish the battery was 24 -7 like solar lights. It only works when the sun is out. It doesn't work when the sun goes behind the clouds.
