Not your usual smoky taste
Update : After adding more tea than you usually do and brewing for 4 to 5 minutes you will get pleasant smoky taste so I changed to 4 stars but as I said don't expect campfire like smokiness hereOriginal review with just a 1 tsp of leaves brewed for 3 minutesGood as a black tea but if you are looking for true smoky taste look elsewhere. Make sure you have a container to store it at after you open the seal. Wish I just took what is needed for a cup so I can return it

An extraordinary treat
This was my first purchase from this company, but definitely won't be my last. This tea is exquisite. It has such a lovely scent and taste. It is so rich and smooth I sit and drink it before leaving the house instead of sipping while driving through traffic. It's a great indulgent way to start the day.

The real deal
I loved sipping on Nigiro teas while in Cape Town a couple of summers ago. I'm so glad I can get it in the US! This is a really robust and earthy blend, perfect for a morning cup, and it takes milk quite well. Highly recommend, along with other varieties.

A Smoky Lapsang Souchong
I am an avid Lapsang Souchong fan. Nigrio makes an exceptionally smoky version. If you like your Lapsang on the smokier side this is a good choice for you.

Taste average, twigs in with leaves
Tea brews well with average flavor. I found some twigs with the dried tealeaves and some "rough" leaves. The tea did not have a consistent look withthe leaves. Expensive for tea leaves that don't look sorted properly.Will not buy again.
