Tricky to install without any air bubbles. It has to be done slowly and carefully but it is possible due to the smoothness of the underside surface, unlike some others I have used. Initially I couldn't get anything to stick to it despite repeatedly cleaning with ipa. Since then I have scuffed the surface with some medium grit sandpaper and now it works very well. A quick wipe with the ipa and everything needs a sharpened scraper to remove, even when cool although I have only used pla and petg so far. I'm going to get some more for my other printer. Also worth considering, my other printer has a different surface which also sticks well but it doesn't have the 3m adhesive layer so it sometimes pulls away from the glass bed. This stuff doesn't.

Only 3 stars because the sheet doesn’t have any extra - so basically you get a 203x203 sheet already cut to size and like in my case, cuts weren’t quite square, meanings that there’s a small edge now which is not covered. If it was to come with extra - let’s say 205x205 then you have material on sides which you can trim to get the perfect fit

What a load of rubbish. No better than glass. How do you return this once you've stuck it on the glass?

I've been hunting for a good quality PEI build sheet that comes in 400x400 and this stuff is great. Uniform thickness, square cut, excellent adhesive, and without the suspicious odour of some PEI sheets I've used. A word of warning, which really holds for any build sheet - calibrate your nozzle height with caution. If you do it right this stuff will last and last for a good number of prints. If not, you will NEVER get your print off without damaging the sheet! Also, take your time laying the sheet on your bed - smooth it down from one corner with a cloth, working your way across the bed so you eliminate any air bubbles. It's not cheap, but it is good value.

Pricey but works well. This sheet is big enough to cut into 9 replacements for a Fabricator V2.

Very happy with the pei sheet, bought to stick to a steel plate as my textured pei just wasnt holding tall prints.... this is doing very well

Adquirí esta placa de PEI para añadirla a una de acero inoxidable adquirida antes, y cuyo vendedor aseguraba que sólo se colocaba en la impresora y listo, lo cual resultó una soberana mentira.Hasta ahora he probado con PLA y PETG, ambos filamentos se han adherido bien. En cuando pruebe con otros materiales como polycarbonato, XT, HT, edge, nylon o POM editaré esta reseña.Es una lástima que el precio se halla incrementado, súbitamente de 190.93 pesos a 284.75, puesto que es un poco más sencillo de utilizar y menos riesgoso que las placas de espejo o vidrio que normalmente utilizo.

Utilisé pour remplacer la surface d'accroche de la plaque de verre de mon ALfawise U20.L'accroche est parfaite sur du PLA et PETG.La mise en place est simple.Cependant, après un mois d'utilisation avec du PETG (Chauffe du plateau à 70°), des bulles se sont formée dans la colle. La surface d'impression n'est plus plane sur 3 parties du plateau. Impossible de récupérer la planéité de la feuille de PEI car ces bulles ont déformés celui-ci.

Good product and worked well for 3d printing surface. Although I have went back to glass, I would buy again if I decided to stop using glass.

Ich verwendet aktuell den 3D-Drucker von Prusa. Modell i3 MK3s - neuste Version.Bei diesem Drucker ist bereits eine flexible PEI-Druckplatten enthalten.Leider hat die PEI-Beschichtung mit der Zeit doch sehr gelitten und meine Platte ist an der Oberfläche ziemlich verkratzt.Um keine neue Platte kaufen zu müssen (hier sind leider Lieferzeit und Lieferkosten recht hoch) habe ich mich dazu entschlossen dieses ULTEM Sheet als "Reparatur-Kit" zu verwenden.Dazu habe ich die alte Platte mit einem Nassschleifpapier geschliffen und mit Reinigungsalkohol tiefengereinigt. Vor dem Aufbringen der neuen PEI-Folie habe ich den Untergrund nochmals mit Aceton vorbehandelt - durch das Aceton ist die Haftung der PEI-Folie besser.Die Größe 224 x 254 mm passt perfekt auf die originale Druckplatte des Prusa i3 Mk3S.Beim Aufkleben der PEI-Folie sollte man sich Zeit lassen und möglichst in einer Staubfreien Umgebung arbeiten um die Klebefläche nicht zu "kontaminieren". ;-) Ich gehe bei solchen Arbeiten immer ins Badezimmer nachdem gerade geduscht wurde. Durch die feuchte Luft hat man somit weniger Probleme mit Staub und Schmutzpartikeln in der Luft.Je besser die Folie geklebt ist, desto besser das Druckergebnis und die Oberfläche.WICHTIGER HINWEIS: Vor dem ersten Testdruck, immer daran denken, dass das Druckbett nun um 0,2mm höher ist. Somit muss die Z-Achse, also der Abstand zwischen Druckbett und Nozzle neu kalibriert werden.Mit der neuen Folie hat man in etwas das gleiche Druckergebnis wie mit den originalen Druckplatten von Prusa. PLA lässt sich hier komplett problemlos drucken. Es haftet ordentlich auf dem Druckbett, ohne Klebestoff und ohne Schwierigkeiten beim Ablösen. PETG ist ebenfalls problemlos, allerdings sollte man hier um Wrapping zu vermeiden eine beheiztes Druckbett nutzen. 80°C ist einen gute Temperatur fürs Druckbett.Unter Verwendung von ABS oder ähnlichen Kunststoffen muss man vorsichtig sein! Dieser haftet extrem gut auf dem PEI Sheet. Hier sollte man unbedingt ein Trennmittel verwenden. Ich habe gute Erfahrung mit Glasreiniger gemacht. Einfach die Platte vor der Nutzung mit Glasreiniger einsprühen und mit einem sauberen Tuch abwischen. So hat man eine recht gute Haftung und kann das Druckteil später recht einfach abnehmen; ohne dabei die Folie zu beschädigen.Eine neue Druckplatte von Prusa kostet inkl. Versand ca. 40€.Die neue PEI-Folie kostet keine 16€. Somit eine günstige Alternative zur neuen Platte.

Ich hatte erst zunächst nichts bemerkt, als ich die Folie aus der Verpackung entnahm. Aber als es ans Aufbringen ging, sah man sofort, dass Knicke und Dellen vorhanden waren.Trotz einer sorgfältigen Aufbringung mit Spülwasser und Rakel waren die Knicke nicht herauszubekommen.Ich vermute, es liegt an der Verpackung. Man müsste wohl eine harte Platte unterlegen. Das scheint aber wohl an preislichen Gründen zu scheitern - und das, obwohl schon einige Rezensenten auf das Problem hinweisen.
