Works perfectly. Arrived from Japan faster than some transcontinental North American shipments.
50GB rewriteable discs at a good price. I've used all of them. They formatted without problems. The came to my home in Kentucky from Japan in about a week (including weekend). I really like the inkjet printable surfact on them. Even if I don't print to them, I feel as though that printable surface adds protection against scratches and other damage.Burn software verified each task as completed without error. I use these for archiving my hard drive backup "images." I use a Linux based software package that operates from its own "live" disc. Because I set the software application to do several simultaneous verifications of the burn, it will take about 4.5 hours to do a 45GB hard drive "imaged" backup but that's entirely understandable and expected. Nice thing for me is that where it used to require about 10 DVD's and where I had to manually feed 10 fresh DVD's into a drive, I can now just let the program run unattended as it puts the image onto one 50GB BD-RE.I've got a LG Blu-Ray burner model WH14NS40 mounted in a Vantec Nexstar NST-530S3-BK External 5.25 Enclosure USB3.0. The LG burner is limited to 2X max speed for BD-RE (Blu-Ray Disc Recordable Eraseable) type discs. The first thing I do is check each disc using Nero's "full erase" function so that Nero can find bad sectors and mark the bad sectors to be unused. You could also call that "defect management" just as you find used in hard drive technology. I know you would like to hear if any of the 5 discs I received had bad spots. Unfortunately, as best I can tell, Nero does not report if any bad sectors were found. The "full erase" with bad sector discovery takes 80 minutes per disc using Nero 8 on my old computer. (Nero 8 is very, very old.)I haven't tried burning these Verbatim BD-RE 50GB discs using anything else other than my Linux based drive imaging software. That's because I have burned to regular BD-R non-LTH 25GB Verbatims and I only get a max of 2.2X using a current version of ImgBurn. So, even doing a burn to just a regular disc using my setup, I know I can't do better than about 2X. I think my old computer is the limiting factor. But, whereas my LG burner is limited to 2X maximum for these Verbatim BD-RE (Blu-Ray Disc Recordable Eraseable), I know that I'm still going to hit the 2X wall. No need to trial a bunch of software to see if things get better: My computer burn limit is 2X to any Blu-Ray disc no matter what. But, that's okay for my needs.

Inexpensive disks, OK so far, but successful writes depend on the disk drive
After using these disks for a few weeks, I can report that results have been generally good. One observation I have made over several years of using various BD-RE disks is that they can have compatibility issues with different Bluray drives. In particular, all the BD-RE disks I have encountered use a 2X write speed. I have an LG drive that writes at 2.3X even if the recording software is set to 2X. The drive reads disks without problems, but disks written with this drive frequently fail to verify. I recently bought a Pioneer USB drive that usually writes at 1.9X. Disks consistently verify as good with this drive. The freeware tool IMGBURN displays disk data, from which I infer that the disk contains information about its write speed that the drive picks up. That leads to the conclusion that the problem is with the drive, not the media. Since these disks are fairly new, I cannot say how many rewrites are possible before the disk fails for good.

Fair Price Re-Recordable 50 GB DL Discs Works
At approximately $6.20 per disc, I find these DL 50GB discs works.Testing several times the discs Recorded BD files, and with Nero Express Burning these discs record, play and re-record. On my burner USB-C Generic Blu-Ray Burner It takes about 50 minutes to burn 40 GB.I am happy with this purchase.

Not very reliable.
I bought these some time ago, but just now know enough to write some kind of review.I bought these primarily due to their reputation as being high quality and reliable. Unfortunately, while at a good price, they just do not give the performance they should. Of the 50 discs in this spindle, I have used 9 and in each case they lasted up to 4 re-writings (that was only 1 disc) before no longer being reusable. For the rest of them, they only last 2 re-writings. While the computer recognizes them and shows plenty of free space available (22.5 GB), you get an error message stating that the burn failed.Time to look for something more reliable.

Work as promised. No failures. Good deal for the money
The blu-ray disks work as they should. No read/write errors and decent speed. Were cheaper than other offers, too. Will buy again some time.

One of the discs is broken
Out of the 5 discs 1 of them refuses to write correctly. It errors out at 20% burned no matter what I try to burn to it.

Once you format these Verbatim Mitsubishi BD-RE DL discs they work great!
I use ImgBurn to write Blu-ray movies to these discs. All 5 have burned without fail. However, before writing for the first time ImgBurn notified me they needed to be formatted. The format process took a very long time. In fact the format process never completed with a confirmation notification. After letting it run over night I simply shut the pc down to end the process. After rebooting I was able to successfully write the Blu-ray movie folder. This was the case with all 5 discs. I am burning with an internal LG BH12LS38 Blu-ray drive, firmware 1.03-D0.

Ideal printable surface and economical in Spindles
The 50 pcs per spindle makes it very economical to store your old data, pictures etc...Its ideal to copy your old date and keep it in case you may need to refer.I used it for my old emails files, scanned catalogues and pictures and it is reliable. It much safer to store in this Blu-ray then the portable HDD or SSD.The printable surface is good as you can print to identify your disc and its better then placing a label on it as from my experience, thelabel can make the disc unbalance dynamically and when you access data it may have error or even damage your writer/reader/

So far, I have had no performance issues.
I used this product to save thousands of photos I took as I'm in the process of digitalizing all my books and creating duplicates of many other photos I have taken over the years. I have not included videos yet, though. At least, for my photos, these DVDs do the job. Hopefully, the DVDs will not deteriorate for a very long time. However, even though I have no had performance issues with any of the DVDs yet, I was disappointed by the fact that the formatting process apparently makes 2.5GB of memory unavailable (space for just over 1,000 photos, 2 to 3MB each), which effectively reduces the DVDs' memory capacity to 22.5GB. I don't understand why 2.5GB is consumed by formatting; it seems like it is a lot, but at least the rest of the DVD is ok.

Needed to make sure video project burns correctly.
These re-writable blu-rays are necessary when burning projects to make sure your final video project is to your satisfaction. How the project looks and if the project burns correctly. If you are not satisfied, you can always use the disk again and re-write. Using regular blu-rays means throwing them away if mistakes are made and will be costly. These disks work well.
