UPDATE: Maybe I was a little hasty with my review. upon the company seeing my review they sent me a new product, so I finished what I started the other day, and this time the product worked great. I finished raking the sand and added a few plants to the tank with the plant hook, and everything worked great.So another cheap product, I used it for the first time today. I was raking the sand to level it out in places and I heard a crack, upon further inspection, I found the tightening ring had cracked, this is a one-time use item unless you have a very small tank.

The handle on end of stick broke off at the 4th use. Attachments are nice.l and somewhat easy to use.

This cleaning kit is wonderful! My tank separates two rooms with 1 side against a wall. The side against the wall builds up alga quickly. The scrubber and scrapper lets me clean it up quickly. And the telescopic handle keeps my arm dry while I'm doing it.Will definitely be recommending this to my fellow fish tank owners!Update: I didn't think I would use it much, but I find myself using the plant planter thing a lot. I like to re-decorate my house, and with this tool, I can also re-decorate my tank by moving around the plants :)

This is great for algae cleaning, however be warned that the net will tangle fish. I've never had a net tangle fins in it to the extent this one did. I was scooping out a corydoras because this is small and a good size, and he got tangled. I cut him out, but he couldn't swim well. I captured him again and had to cut about 1/4th of his fin off, unfortunately. I recommend if you buy this, throw the net out or use it for non-fish related things. However, for the value this is a great kit (minus the net) and I would reccomend.

If I had bought this for an aquarium, I would be thrilled. But I bought this for using in my swimming pool. I usually just float around and clean junk off the bottom of the shallow end of my pool. This works great for that, I know that I am nit picky about debris in my pool, but that's just me. This product serves more than one use!

So far I've only used the net attachment, but, am very pleased. I have a 55 gallon corner tank. It makes it easy to get all over the tank without getting your arm wet. Unfortunately, fish sometimes die, and if they are on the bottom, it was hard to get them. This made it much easier when the unfortunate happens. On the other hand, it doesn't feel super sturdy. Some reviewers stated when they applied pressure with the other attachments, like the scrubber, it broke. If I use it, I will try to be careful. It does feel like it could snap fairly easy if a lot of pressure were to be applied. But overall, nice length (it's adjustable).

I bought this primarily for scraping hard water spots inside the tank and it works great for that! The rest is just a bonus. Good deal for the money and I would definitely buy it again!

This product adversities that it is designed for use on acrylic tanks; however, I used it once on my aquarium to discover that it scratched my display tank terribly! This product is falsely advertised and I am very upset that I was mislead in the application of this set of tools which led to my display tank looking hideous.
