Great belt made of quality materials and construction
The belt comes longer than needed and the buyer should measure the size for them, cut the thick material and easily install the buckle. Once done, the buyer runs the belt through trousers as normal and meets the belt end into the buckle and pushes. The belt clicks and retains with the push. Excellent design and one of mine has been worn daily and has never failed. Release is super easy as well. Just push the release handle at the bottom of the buckle and retention is released. Very comfortable and works as a quality belt should.

Great bellt, great system from one of the belt ratchet belt makers
This is my second ratchet belt. The first one I purchased was a 20 dollar belt that had the system in it but was not all that secure and both the buckle and belt didn't feel sturdy. The material on this belt feels like its top-notch. I know there are many higher grades of leather and much better quality buckles out there but for 50-75 dollars, this is a nice belt. Its also really nice to know that all the other Kore Belts will work with this buckle so I can mix and match both the belts to the buckles and the buckles to the belt. Got a buckle you really like the design of? Just a few other colors of the belts and swap them out when you want. The belt that came with this buckle was Top Grain leather and it looks almost like corrected grain. I would have purchased a higher grade leather if it was offered but you do get the benefit of long-lasting leather with the ratchet systems since you are not putting all the stress on the locking holes and instead the rear of the belts reinforced ratchet mechanism. Id highly recommend this belt and I will definitely be picking up another color.

better than traditional belts
i love that you can adjust this belt to whatever size you need, no more inch at a time adjustments for me. i haven’t worn my old traditional belt since i bought this one. it says you can’t use this one for edc, but i have used it anyway with no problems for about two weeks now, however, i don’t load it down with a bunch of weight, only my gat. belt is thick and sturdy feeling, buckle is easy on/off, only problem is i pinch my fat belly sometimes when i’m taking it off and the buckle is too close to my skin. it is cut to size and you have to have a very sharp cutter to size it.

Looks and works great at first
I like the design of this and once I got used to the mechanism it's really easy to put it on and take it off. Only problem is it's made in two layers and after about a year it started coming apart. I can still wear it like this (the issue doesn't show) but I wanted to let the manufacturer know so they can possibly fix the issue in future products. It's coming apart right were the track part is and holding together pretty well otherwise. It probably just needs a better adhesive (or more of it). I would buy it again because I really like that it's infinitely adjustable and that you don't end up with holes that get bigger and bigger as you wear the belt.

This is the best belt I have ever seen. period.
This is my second Kore slide lock belt. I love it and rarely wear anything else. I got 4 years out of my last belt, but I lost the buckle while traveling. The leather is good quality and reinforced with a plastic strip on the interior that also acts as a the zip tie style locking teeth. The buckle is well made, simple, and the spring never wore out on the last one. This belt is adjusts incrementally for the perfect fit and allows for quite adjustment/tightening as needed. I've bought these for several family members who also swear by them now as well. The buckle transfers easily from one color belt to another or you can mix and match the variety of buckle styles. 100% worth it. This is the best belt Ive ever owned.

Inferior glued layers, but real improvement in comfort.
Never ever get this wet. Wore this holding up polyester hiking shorts and took a cooling-off dip into the ocean. In under 5 minutes 1/3 of the belt fully delaminated. I got out of the water fast. I bought a total of 3 Kore belts even so. This "ocean belt" is the worst, but all have some separation of the two layers. The others I have not swum in. The buckle teeth eventually break through the "leather" and 3 years later all have been 2 inches shortened to reseat their buckles on a fresher portion of belt. Beware using these belts thus for CCW. However, I do like these belts otherwise. All other belts I've put aside for these track belts as my daily choice. I love the miniscule adjustments as my waist and gear carrying change thruout the day. Once you've worn a track belt you don't want to go 'back. I have bought other track belts; So far Kore is one of the better makes I've found.

Plastic belts
Quality has really dropped. Ratchet system is still great, but the belt is basically made out of plastic now.
