i love love love this hair dryer! for years i’ve struggled with frizzy flyaway hair and therefore have hated my hair. i’ve straightened it both chemically and with blowouts, flat irons, curling irons, etc. still frizz frizz frizz. i’ve recently started following a wavy girl hair routine. this hair dryer was recommended by one of the content creators i follow so i thought i would give it a try. it is the first hair dryer i’ve used that does not cause frizz! so far i have used it solely on the cool setting until my hair is 80% dry and let it finish via air dry. i then use argan oil to break the cast.pros:-small and lightweight-attachments connect magnetically so they don’t fall off while being used (love this!) and can be quickly switched out-the control buttons are right beneath your fingers and easily adjusted-nice cord lengthneutral:-quieter than regular hair dryer without attachments. just as loud with them but noise is higher pitched.cons:-button to adjust temperature up or down is easily pressed accidentally because it sits just under the fingers as one holds the handle

i really hesitated spending this much on a dryer but with my silver hair, the texture has changed to more frizzy. I've never had to deal with that before. I am amazed at how smooth my hair is with this dryer. It's quiet and dries very fast. I haven't changed any other products so I can only say it's the hair dryer. Go figure.

I didn’t know a hairdryer could be so amazing! This thing is POWERFUL and lightweight! It is closer to the weight of my dryer brush than a typical hair dryer and very easy to maneuver. I have very thick, course hair and it dries my hair so fast. I can’t say enough great things about this product. 10/10 highly recommend!

I love my Laifen SE hair dryer. The elegant packaging is reminiscent of Apple products: heavy-weight cardboard box holding a beautiful white box with a sleeve and the interior components are a pleasure to unpack. I love the color (light purple) of the dryer, the weight of the diffuser and the smooth nozzle. The cord is a good length. The temperature indicator is subtle and a fun feature. Bravo, Laifen!

I love the lighting as an indicator of the heat. I like that it is lightweight. I like that even the hottest temperature does not burn my scalp. I like that it is more compact. However, what I don’t like is the way the handle is shaped It makes it difficult to hold and difficult to direct because there is no adjustment of the handle to fit the hand. It’s just a cylinder. I understand that it’s part of the modern vibe and that it makes it look more forward looking. But it is harder to hold, and it is harder to change direction and it is harder to change temperature. The controls are on the outside of the handle and because the handle is not contour to fit the hand this makes it harder to change. I’m going to keep the product, but my hope is that the manufacturer will change these critical features so that we are not fatigued every time we use this thing because it does have many positive aspects. For the price, I expected some thing more customer oriented. I think it’s like buying the sofa from some modern outlet and it looks great, but you can’t sit in it for more than 15 minutes without being uncomfortable.That is this blow dryer. I’m sure it’s better for my hair, but it makes my hands ache by the time. I am finished because I have to grip the handle so hard. Manufacture, please modify the handle and please move the controls to the inside of the handle where almost all blow dryers have their controls. Why? Because it makes it easier for the user. Maybe you only tried this out on 20 something but I gotta tell you middle-age folks and probably seniors will find this a challenge. The only saving grace is that. It is so lightweight. Again for the price I expected better. Clearly, I saw the description and clearly I saw the image of the product, but it’s one thing to see it demonstrated by a Hair professional. It’s another to try to use it yourself. Fix the handle in the controls. You owe it to your customers.

It’s fairly quiet when I use it, it doesn’t leave my head buzzing like some other ones do, which I appreciate. But there aren’t many speed settings to choose from, so that part feels a bit limiting.

Didn’t come with a diffuser. I am now buying a diffuser for it because i need it for the weekend and I don’t have time to wait for a return. Was just sent with a smooth nozzle, useless for curly hair.

Get this hairdryer!I know it’s not cheap at $125+, but you won’t regret buying itThe Dyson is double the price and heavyThis is lightweight, 2 air speeds (but I rarely use ‘HIGH)’, the lower speed is powerful enough to blow my hair dry in half the time of my old dryers. The attachmements are magnetic, so no tugging hot piecesIt’s small, lightweight, and I’m able to maneuver it easily( and right now I’m able to hold it with 2 broken fingers!)It’s not as small as my folding travel dryer, but I’m taking this on my vacation and the heck with hotel dryers—- This dryer literally blows you away!
