The Art and Making of Aquaman Hardcover – January 1, 2019

The artwork is beautiful, very detailed. I would have liked more actual pictures from the movie and more actual behind-the-scenes "making of" shots, such as Jason Momoa and Amber Heard in harnesses in front of the green (blue?) screen (and Jason and Patrick Wilson shooting their fight scenes). I would love to have learned how they filmed the navy ship almost crashing into Authur and Tom Curry's truck. The book also contains a number of comic book drawings of a blond Aquaman and a 'roided out Mera that I could have done without. In all, however, it is worth the money if you're an Aquaman fan.

A great book to have with the movie, wonderful works, and great for any artist to have.

I loved this book about Aquaman. It's incredible to see all the things that happened behind the scene with James Wan and Jason Mamoa.

I love every aspect and design of this book. So much work and effort was put into this piece, which some don’t understand how much time it really takes to make these treasures. Every page is colorful and it truly represents the book very well. I’m a big fan of Jason Momoa and I really enjoy this piece. I’m hoping more will be made. ♥️

A good book to read if you want to read what the director, producers and everyone else thought of the movie-making process. You can also see pictures/art designs of what they thought about, which have been used and which were discarded. Overall it's a great insight into the Aquaman movie.

Coming from someone that bought over 200 artbooks, truet me this is something exceptionally beautiful. Every page is filled with concept arts, design and beautiful artwork. I missed so many things in the movie but this book showcases it all.It’s also just a great collectablr artwork to own even if you didn’t watch the movie.

One often doesn't understand the artistry that goes into a movie...especially a film as original, unique and as Epic as Aquaman. This book is worth every penny. This book with is excellent printing and full spread layouts and wonderful colors is an worthy addition to any film buff's library.

Shipping was fast and if you are considering buying or not I definitely recommend yes!!! The art in this book is compared to portraits, you can hang them on the wall. Aquaman was such a beautiful movie for me, James Wan is such an phenomenal director.

The Making of Aquaman lets you in on the designing of sets, costumes and characters that is both interesting and intriguing. Find out what was cgi and what wasn’t, some of it surprised me. Also the new cameras and stunts they had to create for a mostly underwater film.Again, it’s a great book to have or a great gift for anyone who thoroughly enjoyed the movie as I did!
